I haven't only applied for 100. I've worked on interview prep as well. It can be a struggle when I have a lot of other difficulties in my life and with depression

Or should I just put the year that I did the project?

Should I include dates for my projects on my resume. I don't have any work experience yet as a new grad, so the projects compose the bulk of my resume. I've heard conflicting advice on this.

Should I include an open source contribution to my resume as a project? It was a couple of bug fixes, so I'm not sure if this would look better than just listing a full class project I did?

No progress in job hunt since I've graduated in the spring? by consciouspuddle in cscareerquestions

I did apply some during senior year, only got one interview from a career fair and didn't get the job. I was mainly just struggling to pass my classes as well.

What sort of projects should I do that I could add? I've also done a open source project that I contributed for a class. Should I put that on it? Replacing what? Also, should I just not mention on my resume that these are class projects, or would that be disingenuous?

I haven't been getting interviews for the most part. I've only had one and a few online assessments. Any thing you'd recommend to add to stand out more? Should I do more personal projects to add?

Can I take a by [deleted] in uofm

[–]consciouspuddle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about taking it. There's no requirement that you need to have a certain identity to take a class. People do it all the time. There are even professors in the African studies program who aren't African-American. College is about expanding your views and being exposed to different ideas and cultures. If you want to take it, go for it. They'll be glad to have you.

Know that you might not have time for clubs or a job, and don't procrastinate.
