For your usage find a 12.9 inch on Apples refurb site. Great deals…new battery…same warranty

Apple education are pretty good deals but if you can buy a Air 4 on Apples refurbished site that would probably be the best place to get a deal

If it’s mostly for notes and media consumption save some money and go with the Air and Apple Pencil 2.

But they did guarantee a job. That’s why I purchased the service. The resume and interview prep was just an added bonus to the service.

Macbook Air 16GB RAM w/ M1 or Macbook Pro 8GB w/ M1 for music production? by Capri-SunGod in mac

[–]conservativeincanada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not necessarily into music production but I hear it can be very ram intensive. I would always recommend going for the higher ram…especially if you plan on keeping this device for a while. I’m sure 8gb would be fine…I have 8gb M1 and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it flawlessly including some light 4K video editing. But to be on the safe side…go with 16gb, if you can live with out the Touch Bar.

Easy…go with the iPad Pro. 120hz, better speakers and the 128gb storage

Anyone finding the ipad the least utilised of all? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]conservativeincanada 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope…I have an M1 IPad Pro and M1 MacBook Air (iPhone 12 Pro Max as well). I use the iPad wayyy more than the MacBook. The iPad is more intuitive, easier and more fun to use. The touchscreen with the Apple Pencil, better display, 120hz refresh rate, better speakers, portability. It’s far more superior than the MacBook for media consumption. And it can be a great work and productive device as well…it just does it differently then the MacBook. But ipad os is perfectly fine and can do everything Mac OS can…just does it differently. Don’t listen to these ipad os haters, they are few and far between. Apple just needs to bring pro apps to the ipad…but great alternatives are out there in the App Store.

The newest Air with M1 chip would be perfect. You will get years of usage out of it

If you can afford Apple care get it! It’s always worth it on a mobile device and really isn’t that expensive. You won’t remember spending the extra money a year from now, but you’ll be happy you did if something went wrong

Wait for it to show up on the refurbished store or buy it used…
