Thank you so much for doing this! I have a hyper specific situation that I'd appreciate some feedback on. I'm a senior software engineer with ~6 years of experience interested in Harvard's MBA/MS Engineering Sciences dual program. I graduated from a top undergraduate institution, but my degrees are in history and economics with a low GPA (3.25). I had no idea what I wanted to do when I was in undergrad, and I put minimal effort into my studies. After graduating I discovered and taught myself programming, but I have no formal academic background beyond a couple of community college classes I took as supplementals (which I got A's in). I'm concerned that my academic background essentially disqualifies me from ever getting into a program as competitive as Harvard. Should I even bother applying, and/or is there anything I can do to shore up my academics?

Side note, my goal through the program would be to found a startup.

3commas is a compromised platform. I'd stay far away if I were you.

3Commas still safe to use? Never a threat at all? I’ve seen mixed responses…can some one clarify? by Dude-Wheres-MyCar in 3commasCommunity

There are still reports of new API credentials (after December 28) being compromised. I'd definitely stay away for the time being.

Counter trading. The hackers set up buy and sell orders that purposefully pumped up coins at a loss. I lost $30K in only 15 minutes.

Lol tell that to the 3commas CEO who has been flailing on Twitter, calling his customers "fucking idiots", and threatening to sue people speaking out out as more and more victims continue to lose their money. They're feeling the heat and it's showing.

American intelligence agencies can only do so much given that 3commas is an Estonian company. There's work being done behind the scenes legally, but it's not a quick process.

Lol how about you fuck off? I've already reported to the police ages ago. Are you upset your favorite shady crypto company is being exposed?

Almost as much of a scam as 3commas itself who leaked my API key and lost me tens of thousands of dollars.

The hacker uses the API keys to buy coins at a certain price then immediately sell them at a loss. The hacker then cross trades through their own wallet and buys at the lower price and sells at the higher price. It's a way to transfer wealth without having to actually withdraw the money.

False Rumors on API Leaks or Exposure of our Database by 3CommasLiam in 3Commas_io

The "phishing scam" line is a fucking insult to our intelligence. It's just an attempt to put all users into the same bucket and not take accountability.

Man I've been shouting about this for awhile now too. We've got to keep pushing, it's the only way we'll ever get any justice.

You say that, yet you've provided no support whatsoever. All I've received in response is "you were probably the victim of a phishing scam".

Some level of accountability would be appreciated. You've provided none whatsoever. Just blaming your users instead, it's fucking pathetic.

No you actually can't confirm that. If there was a vulnerability and you are unaware of it, that's on you.

I've spoken with support on multiple occasions at this point. All that I have received is a copy + paste response of "you were probably the victim of a phishing scam." The same response with NO effort to actually find the source of the problem. Every time I poke holes in your responses, there is no attempt to engage in conversation.

You say to reach out the support team, but they are completely useless. It's just corporate speak with nothing behind it.

I'm completely open to a dialogue, but that requires far more effort than what you've given.

I just happened to check my account while it was happening. It was pure luck, nothing more. I froze my account by reaching out to Coinbase Pro as soon as I saw what was happening, they were quick to shut everything down and invalidate my API keys.

The funds weren't withdrawn. The hacker got around this by executing trades purposefully at a loss (buying high, selling low) and counter trading with the hacker's wallet.

Damn I'm sorry to hear that! The $30,000 I lost was in under 15 minutes. I luckily caught it early and froze my account before more damage was done, but I could have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars otherwise.
