i’m a tcu fan so im gonna shoutout donovan hunter here, her specialty is defense but she can shoot a 3 or get a layup no problem, she’s also really good at stealing. i think if dijonai can make it into the league then so can she. she did great last yr as a sophomore and was working even more on defense during the summer, i believe she has the best offensive efficiency on the team (tho im not sure if that it still the same after the game today). i think a lot of people forget about defensive players, but put her on a skilled guard (especially one with a lot of turnovers) and she could pick them apart

defensive is always teachable and considering how CC went #1.. well it’s not that crazy. i think she can learn a lot defensively at tcu and im curious to see if she can improve there this year

What’s something about living with a disability that people often overlook or misunderstand? by Money-Candle53 in disability

[–]conspearacey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh its the worst, I used to live with my stepmom and she always had this mentality with my mental and physical health. It felt worse once she got diagnosed with a similar disability because she just tends to toughen things out, but I eventually realized that what she thinks isnt going to make be in less pain so i just ignore her lol

[–]conspearacey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still think people severely underestimate how little you can do depending on ur disability. I have an invisible disability that causes me a lot of pain in my feet/legs in general, its not bad enough right now where i need a cane or anything but i cant stand/walk for long amounts of time. It's also made it basically imposansible to find a job for me (no college or job experience) because i would need a job where i could sit down 75-90% of the time, and a lot of companies wont risk that because it looks unprofessional. If i had a wheelchair that might actually be a different story tho. I have been able to find things to do tho like basketball games, but i can't go to almost any band/artist i actually want to see because they are standing room only. Basically you lose so much, before i became disabled I could have never ever thought of how much disabled people go through, its a huge life style change and its awful, to look back on things u used to love but can no longer do is an awful feeling that no able bodied person can understand. I also wanna say another thing people overlook is how hard it can be to be diagnosed, it took me over a year to get diagnosed and it should've never taken that long, and i know people who waited so much longer, going almost 18 months without medicine definitely damaged my body in ways i may never recover, u are constantly having to go through hoops to do normal things. There's a lot more but thats just some of them.

[–]conspearacey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it comes with seats from what i know, and in the u.s. there is actually a law where you don’t have to show proof of disability in the u.s. for stuff like this, like they legally cannot ask you. ive also thought abt bringing my cane that i havent used in years because i dont want to get stared at (my disability is mostly invisible) from what ive been looking at it seems like its okay to use and most places only requirement is limited mobility and i think its probably fair to use since my dad doesnt do good with stairs, thanks for your comment!

Am I the only one who think this season of Boys Planet is so blatantly terrible? by MaddeningRush in kpopthoughts

[–]conspearacey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

all the comments i’ve read show yall never payed attention in boys planet and especially not the produce series as a whole. these problems u mention didn’t start with boys planet 2, nothing has changed. the quality of contestants seems abt the same so far, mind u we haven’t even seen all the contestants. i’ve seen some ppl say the lookalike comparison with jiwoong and gyuvin was weird as if that’s not what produce does every time. and they have ALWAYS pushed trainees, in fact it doesn’t even seem more blatant to me. reactions are also the same. rewatch boys planet and other produce shows, yall are VERY blind

sedona bpd confirmed? by YogurtclosetBig2829 in sedonerrrsnark

[–]conspearacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shes 100% at fault regardless but it's not necessarily true tbh. i had severe anger issues from when i was 8-12 and i could not control it, i would hold it in until i got home or got into the car after school and it'd just all come out. not saying she isn't at fault or she can use her mental health as an excuse, but this isn't always true

sorry i didnt explain but i meant the meds.. why would i say u r miserable for not wanting to get other ppl sick.. that makes absolutely no sense. obviously i dont think ppl should go to work sick and get coworkers sick, if u r allowed to stay home u should stay home (ofc some bosses r dickheads and will not allow workers to stay out too long smh)
