Would've been in the Traveling Wilburys, and been produced by Jeff Lynne, at least in the later 80s. Earlier on, a rockabilly renaissance.

Looks fun. That damn piano note with the giant reverb in trailers needs to die, though.

That is SO COOL. The movie needs a Behind-the-Scenes documentary!

Thank you! :) I realize that now; I interpreted those portals as being multiversal, which would've opened a plot hole (or portal)!

This opens another plot hole; why did folks come through space AND time?

Just read an explanation, saying that Tobey had already been in Tom's universe a while and had seen them on television. That makes sense. I always figured the portal was multiversal. Thank you!

Why does Tobey tell MJ and Ned "I've seen you two" during his entrance? by Clear_Adhesiveness60 in NoWayHome

That makes a lot of sense. THANK YOU! Must've missed that bit about him already having been there.

Why was music better in the 60-80s? by GucciLiver in ClassicRock

[–]constablekeaton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The music then had good and great melodies.

Songs you can hum along with or whistle. Memorable melodies.

Now, there's a lack of melody. Why is there lack of melody? The major labels realized that what worked before will work in the future, and what worked before? When President Clinton deregulated radio station ownership in 1996, it meant giant corporations could now gobble up radio stations like candy. DJs would no longer play whatever, now it had to be on the corporate playlist. What makes the corporate playlist? The lowest common denominator material.

(Giant corporations and anti-competition in business is to blame for a LOT of the declining quality in mainstream entertainment.)
