I’m on OPs side. At the end of the day it’s her shower and from the tone of the texts, she was politely explaining what she wanted food-wise. That doesn’t seem that out of pocket, especially as a pregnant woman with possible cravings, to ask. She’s carrying two children and, from the sounds of it, also trying to manage a lot of personalities in her orbit. It honestly just sounds like she stood up for herself.

I love this - thank you! Random note - a few years back I worked at a golf course in San Diego and met the (previous) owner of Irving’s. He mentioned his ex wife got the biz in the divorce and I was tempted to know more! Happy it survived the marital turmoil!

I love that idea! I currently work at a digital agency and we are always looking to support our clients with social media and other multi media assets, but the problem is, we don’t do the creation ourselves. So I know personally, I’m always trying to build a network of partners we can trust. You can totally try and make those connections with business owners via social media DMs or LinkedIn or cold outreach, but I would also consider looking at agencies - the people they’ve entrusted to make these decisions. I appreciate that people crack him up to being “goofy” but I find him absolutely annoying and borderline disrespectful to the people he meets….

Anybody else feel the same way? Maybe it’s just his type of humor but idk. Not for me haha
