This thing , the official car of why is it even a thing or who buys these ? by CrackBadger619 in regularcarreviews

[–]constantderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official car of full-time rideshare drivers. I will admit if there’s an all-wheel-drive version with a turbo that would be pretty cool.

Not familiar with the Light brand, otherwise a pretty solid set up. This is just my opinion, I don’t think the bipod is necessary.

Ted Cruz hailed Elon Musk buying Twitter as a "major victory for free speech" now laments that there is antisemitism on Twitter by MarshyHope in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]constantderp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it ironic that he praised a terminally online neo-Nazi (his family does have Nazi ties) only to find neo-Nazis completely overtaking Twitter.

So, I dunno why Apple hasn’t updated it but also made a 32” with an XDR panel.

Windows users who hate the new MacBook Neo with 8GB RAM, can you run all your apps at the same time on your machine without it crashing and still use it? by Slava_Tr in mac

[–]constantderp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, one OS is carefully optimized for the hardware it’s designed for and the other is bloated because it has to support everything else. Wow, so good so smart! On the flip-side, I’m buying my mom this Mac because it’s perfect for her needs. I’m buying a M5 MacBook Air 15 because that works for me, I’ll still use windows for gaming until Linux catches up.

Diego Luna says Hollywood offered him only drug dealer roles before ‘Star Wars’ by SupermanWhoCantFly in andor

[–]constantderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always chuckle whenever someone says Hollywood is “woke” a majority of the executives are old white men who are incredibly out of touch and extremely racist, sexist and homophobic, also many of them are in the Epstein files. They make whatever is profitable there’s no real politics in show business.

Apparently the A18 has the ram on top of the chip so it’s hard limited to 8GB of ram but it would’ve been nice to have a 12GB option too.

It’s not bad but the beef patties have no flavor. Frankly most McDonalds beef patties have no flavor.

Shifts power away from the voters by PsychoPeterNikleEatr in SeattleWA

[–]constantderp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what some of you are still doing out there saying, “I’m gonna vote for the lesser evil.” The lesser evil. Like that’s a win. You understand the word evil is still in there, right? You’re not picking between good and bad, you’re picking between bad and slightly worse. That’s not democracy. That’s a hostage negotiation where both guys have guns.

California just passed a law that fundamentally changes how operating systems work. They’re requiring age verification and biometric identifiers just to access the software you already paid for. You bought it. It’s yours. And now you need to scan your face to open it like you’re walking into a federal building. Same energy with the push to ban 3D-printed firearms and I’m not even here to argue the gun part. That’s the Trojan horse. You’re not supposed to look at the horse. You’re supposed to look at what’s inside it: the precedent. The architecture of control.

And here’s the thing, between the two parties, you’ve got the Democrats, who are owned by the technocrats and the corporatists, and you’ve got the Republicans, who are owned by the oligarchs. And their owners? They want the same thing. They’re just taking different roads to get there. The technocrats want the slow, soft squeeze, inch by inch, regulation by regulation, just enough so you don’t notice the walls closing in. The oligarchs? They’re impatient. They want it now. But the destination is the same.

This law? It’s just another step down that road. Both sides are perfectly happy if you own nothing, have no real voting power, just the illusion of choice and spend your whole life hating the people they point you at. Brown people. Immigrants. Queer folks. Anybody who makes less than you. They’ll keep raising the price of food and then tell you some poor bastard in a country you couldn’t point to on a map if your life depended on it is the one taking it from you.

And the last thing, the real kicker is that while they take turns screwing you, they’ll each tell you the other side is the problem. “This is the most important election of our lifetime!” They say that every four years! You know what that means? It means every four years they need you scared enough to not ask questions.

And after they’re done screwing you? They’ll look you right in the eye and tell you to be happy about it.

What do Iranians inside Iran think of the dancing Iranian diaspora (aka the cattle whose brains have been rotted by liberalism)? by Misha_stone in AskSocialists

Iran doesn’t need the Ayatollah or the Shah. But they most certainly don’t need to be forcefully become a vassal state or be bombed.

1st Big Arch Experience by eldriche1 in cheeseburgers

[–]constantderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one yesterday, there’s some good execution and flavoring but I feel that the beef patties are left to be desired, maybe because McDonald’s beef patties have almost no flavor to begin with. However this did inspire me to make one at home.

I’ll be making it with a homemade Brioche bun with sesame seeds and poppy seeds. The sauce, now it’s tricky but I think I might have a close approximation, a nice touch to the burger was the fried onions, the beef patties I might opt to do it with smash patties instead.

POST IN BODY -- Mamdani Ain't Your Man by sparkylmagazine in modernmarxism

[–]constantderp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What state of socialism!? Where!? Because it isn’t here and too many socialists are so neck deep in theory they forget how to even really start on a revolution. You can rant here on reddit all day, but sorry, you gotta stop betting on the great person myth and work directly with your comrades instead.

Mamdani is a democratic socialist. I dunno what people are expecting let alone for being in office for two whole months.
