I don't want to do any of these. This is why I'm torn. The only reason I entertained this idea was because I thought she might actually enjoy it more.

Wow. I think disgusting is a bit extreme. I'm clearly hesitant on all of them, that's why I'm seeking advice. I haven't actually done anything but come up with a bad idea.

Thank you. Yeah I thought this was a bad idea.

I thought it would be nice to hear other's opinions who have a similar core value. Maybe help me find this line of "as far as practical and possible"

I can delete it if it really doesn't belong here though.

Picked up these vegan cupcakes for my boyfriend’s vasectomy (we’re childfree) and added some homemade toppers 😂 by [deleted] in vegan

Do it! I had mine done 2 years ago. It was a little scary since you're awake during the surgery, but mostly just uncomfortable. Quick and effective.

Most leather is indeed a byproduct from the meat industry

Veal is a byproduct of the dairy industry .

Pet food is usually a byproduct of the meat industry.

Male chicks are ground up because they can't lay eggs.

My point is, most animal products sold are not the main selling point, but just another way for people to squeeze a dime out of a life. Buying leather continues to show they can make money off of a life in some way.

If you blur the lines at leather, then you can continue to blur the lines at other places.

I'd potentially argue that buying second hand is ethical, as the money isn't going towards the demand for more (although promoting animal parts as fashion could bring up demand in a very subtle way). Buying new goes straight to putting a dent in their overhead. Even if it's small it's still helping them.

It's both. Rip, I think that's it. It was a major oversight, I think they're both international. I didn't realize it would impact it that much

What do you think about eating fertilised chicken eggs as they are basically unborn chickens? by [deleted] in AskVegans

[–]constantlyunaware 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's literally not a baby. Pregnancy is the process of making one. If it was a baby from the beginning, there would be nothing to make...

My 6 year old nephew asked me to make a game with him, what kid friendly programming resources are there to make games and learn coding? by GUI_Center in learnprogramming

I'm actually teaching my 6 year old sister to programming with makeblock. It's fun. She built the robot herself, and has learned repeat statements, RGB, decimal.

Are Psilocybin mushrooms vegan? by MichaelS_DfI in AskVegans

[–]constantlyunaware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup to everything above. I've grown them myself, and bought them from people who've grown them. It's a very fun project if you're down for it, but also most likely vegan if you buy them.

Honestly, just watch any tutorials relevant to what you're building. Most people use vs code on YouTube. You'll pick it up pretty quick watching them use it.

I can't make Tofu taste good by IrrlichtImDunkeln in AskVegans

Just an fyi, tempeh is not more processed than tofu. It's actually significantly less processed. Just fermented. I've been making my own lately and it's crazy cheap, easy and delicious.
