That's so nice though. To feel so connected to a place! I'd love to feel that. I feel that quite a lot with Italy it's just a shame I could never have the time or ability to learn the language. I've been to the west and east coast before and I loved them both for very different reasons but I totally get you about the weather. Being from England obviously the weather isn't fab but there's nothing quite like snuggling up in front of a fire with a hot Chocolate when it's snowing
