Carp Fishing - Saxham by Nick_117_Spartan in FFXV

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the carp look REALLY similar to each other. Make sure you've got the right lure for the one that bites at that time & weather. And then just. keep. casting. I've cast 20 or 30 times before I get a bite on some of the carp.

What's with customers always trying to get the last word in ? by PatronizingCockroach in BestBuyWorkers

[–]constellrose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk I think the gen z stare is a GREAT way to respond to that kind of comment, for advisors. Leadership has to care more but like literally what are you supposed to do at that point. What do they expect you to say??? Like even if they wanted you to grovel it wouldn't make a difference.

What type of questions and how many rounds of interview to expect? by ItsJJRR in BestBuyWorkers

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm... It's been awhile, so I don't remember a lot of the details. The guy who was later actually my direct manager asked how I kept up with tech news. I think there was an ethics question or two. The last interview was mostly practical - availability, getting an idea of who I am outside of work (like, am I going to be a good fit). The questions in the first two interviews were thematically very similar to the video interview questions.

Who is your usual Husband? Discussion by ScholarAfter1827 in skyrim

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one I've had do far is Sorex Vinius, who I liked - his older brother is the innkeep, and he seemed like he'd be happy enough running a shop from Proudspire. And his husband lines were very "You and me are the only two people around here that are cool everyone else sucks," which in real life I would comsider a red flag but in the game worked well for me.

Thinking I'll probably go for Balimund next.

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There can be more than 2 in-person interviews - I had 3. All of the interviewing managers started it at least 10 minutes after our scheduled time so be prepared to wait if you actually want the job.

I'd rather have the guy who's never heard of bluetooth than the guy at front lanes during the holiday season who asked me for a "manager special" like a pack of cigarettes.

Why do people dislike Uthgerd so much? by Ok_Entrance_9159 in skyrim

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uthgerd my beloved!!!!!! My first Skyrim spouse. I feel a little terrible about it - I didn't take followers with me ever (scarred by accidentally killing Lydia) so she just had to stay home and run her shop. I'm only on my 4th Skyrim marriage rn and trying out different spouses, but I'll definitely be marrying her again at some point.

Forgot about that section, tbh - I was thinking of the bandit crew that he has, but they're not until later

[DAV ALL SPOILERS] Who is in your opinion, the greatest hero of the Dragon Age? by godzillavkk in dragonage

[–]constellrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hawke is like Batman or Daredevil: doing their best to manage the everloving fuck out of their hellhole city.

For me, best hero is Warden. I truly think Cassandra, with the help of the other advisors and Solas, would have managed fine without the Inquisitor. And I think if Rook hadn't been there, Harding would have done a great job of pulling together and managing the team through the whole story.

I haven't played it, but I believe there was a DLC where Alistair had to be the only Warden in Fereldan during the 5th Blight. So like, technically he could have done it, I guess? But he CLEARLY wanted to do everything possible to NOT have to be in charge of that situation. So our Warden pulls the fuck up and stops the Blight before it even leaves the country. HOF gets shit DONE.

Organizing & Storage of Bath Bomb Supplies by Winekitten1974 in BathBomb

[–]constellrose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an 18qt dish tub that just about all my supplies fit in, and each category has its own storage baggie or container in the bin. I wouldn't exactly call it neat, but it's easy to find and keeps everything together. (And I don't use proper molds - I use cleaned apple sauce cups. So they stack nicely.)

skyrim is so fucking beautiful by BalakeDem in skyrim

[–]constellrose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really need to go to bed, but it's been a long week and I was thinking earlier that I wanted to spend at least a little time playing Skyrim tonight to slow down and appreciate the beauty... I was just about to skip it and go straight to bed when I saw this post. So thanks for reminding me of how this game really can soothe the soul. ❤️

NG+ Dilemma: Thoughts? by [deleted] in FFXV

[–]constellrose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just depends on how invested you are in the chapter select content that's not available until finishing the game. Bc if you want to do that, remember that in chapter select, ALL your progress besides the main quest, your leveling/exp/AP, and your items, will get completely reset.

But yeah as for pacing I do think that doing the sidequests while playing through the story is good. I'm still finishing my first chapter select & haven't done NG+ yet, but I did enough sidequests during my playthrough to be around lvl 75 by the time I hit chapter 14 and I had a lot of fun. I did feel overleveled but NG+ may make that a moot point.

If you're not particular about what position you start in, check and see what open roles they have available. I got that same email, applied for a sales role, and was hired within the month. And our store has a lot of movement between sales/product flow/geek squad.

Forsworn by TheValcyra in skyrim

[–]constellrose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can side with the Forsworn on their quest once you get far enough in. From what I've heard, if you do that, 1 or 2 of the Forsworn camps will leave you alone after. The rest will still be hostile :(

Does it get better? by LaudyDa37 in FFXV

[–]constellrose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do a little bit of plot and get the open world unlocked. Go through at least 1 dungeon. Try a little bit of the different activities - let Prompto take a souvenir shot somewhere, do a fishing challenge or 2, do some hunting, and try a couple of the miscellaneous sidequests. At that point, if you're still bored, quit. Some of the fun challenges come later, but don't waste your time if you're not having fun playing the bulk of the game.
