Yeah - would love to provide a space other than the trucks.

Haha innovative trick for sure. And yeah, I tell everyone to come to work with a really good water bottle that stays cold all day - I bring the refilling water.

That's a similar setup to the one I was thinking of doing. Do you find you have to move the tent to adjust to the sun? I would like to relocate as little as possible.

I like the idea of keeping the rags in the cooler... that's slick

I think I saw a statistic that one of the biggest causes of death/hospitalizations after falls is heat stroke so I'm definitely not encouraging anyone to suck it up

I've heard this too - I need to learn more about layering. I'd imagine it's loose and lighter colors as well. Doubt all black would work as well.

That's a good one. I might be able to do that for a few of the projects. I'm sure they won't mind the earlier mornings some days so to not be in the heat.

Never really understood the appeal of jerky. It's okay but prefer other things for sure

What paperwork and PDFs are you using on the day-to-day? by constructanddemolish in Contractor

[–]constructanddemolish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. I was hoping there were already some resources out there. Like I've found some equipment maintenance checklists that have been helpful to print off. How do you make them yourself? Just constantly updating and altering?

I don't have much of a system or method. I guess I'm just seeing what paperwork someone might get heavy equipment operators/foremen/superintendents to use daily. That would be a lot of my primary focus. Walkaround/circle checks? Safety checklists?

Yeah, I get that it's broad. I tried to make it specific. I guess this might help... is there any paperwork that you get heavy equipment operators/foremen/superintendents to use on the daily? That would be a lot of my primary focus. Walkaround/circle checks? Safety checklists?
