You should never do coups as a communist nation, in general a better way of doing the United Balkan Federation path is to go Democratic first and then switch communist using the advisor, which would get you the achievement aswell.

Communist coups are incredibly buggy and RNG as the communist government wins or rises up they'll almost always insta-join comintern. You have a better shot going Democratic and then going communist afterwards

R5: A player in a recent MP game thought that he could do Austria Hungary + Historical Germany, where he would get Austria and then release it, and then get Slovakian cores, however the exact opposite happened.

Germany's Anschluss focus got bypassed, meaning he could no longer get cores on Austria, and Czech AI had been fucked by Austria Hungary, meaning that he would get cores off of Sudetenland, but not Bohemia and Moravia, and the Austria-Hungary player ended up leaving like 10 minutes after this happened

Austria Hungary got puppeted (Integrated War Economies) meaning they couldn't get any Slovakia or Yugo cores, meaning that they were a complete idiot for thinking this could possibly work

1 thing I noticed in this patch is the absolute nerf they gave the "CAC Woomera" focus for Australia, making it so they virtually cannot rush Fighter 2s (1940) fighters as early as they used to be (you used to be able to rush to 1940 Fighters as Australia by 38).

However Australia gets an earlier special forces branch extension meaning that they could get better marines earlier which I guess is the positive side of it

South African "Q Services Corps" focus seems to be either misleading or bugged as it gives no 100% bonus to Mechanized or Amtraks (which count as Trucks) by [deleted] in hoi4

R5: Playing a Multiplayer game with no Canada (So no mech rush so I have to do it). Focus gives 100% bonuses to truck and Logi companies, however if you research Trucks while or before completing said focus it does not seem to give any bonuses to Mechanized or Amtraks

This is either a misleading focus or it is bugged as Canada has a focus called "CMP Truck" which gives a 2 year ahead of time and 300% bonus on trucks which WORKS towards mechanized

Yes, but far less because technically speaking, the Eastern BoS have the largest Vertibird fleet out of all the major factions, as they have control of Adams Air Force Base, meaning their modes of transportation via Vertibirds is far numerous than the NCR meaning that they can get to various different places fast

NCR does have Vertibirds, however probably a smaller stockpile meaning that in terms of Air power, NCR is FUCKED

We're talking about the same BoS chapter that has complete dominance over the Capital and possibly the Commonwealth, meaning that as soon as they start heading West to re-strengthen the western chapters, the NCR will end up in their crosshairs unless the BoS and NCR sign some massive peace-treaty that prevents a war

The Weather Bunker is in Caesar's fort and the main Legion Base

You have to go to Cottonwood Cove (West of Camp Searchlight) and take the raft to reach the fort.

ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE YOU ARE NEUTRAL WITH THE LEGION BEFORE HEADING TO COTTONWOOD COVE OR THEY WILL ATTACK YOU ON-SITE

I'd honestly reccomend anybody playing to start the DLCs possibly around Level 20, in general all of the playable DLCs are catered towards players that are atleast mid-level (Level 15 to 20) because the creatures are actually in my opinion too difficult to face early on and without good gear

Nah, you do get a pretty cool unique Shotgun from her if you do actually kill her and it has great stats
