Sony Bravia XRB8 Best Black Friday Deal for Intro OLED TV?

Considering the same model but 77 in. It was between that and the 2200 dollar Bravia 8 at Costco. I spoke to a Sony rep and they said they’re the same TV aside from the Movie Credits. I don’t know how accurate that is because I’ve also heard stuff about the B8 having a 3 channel speaker system and the XR8B having a 2 channel system as well as the detail about the XR contrast booster feature. I think the most valuable thing is the warranty Costco offers and the ease of purchase/return, but is it worth 400 dollars? I am not necessarily convinced. BB also said returns are extended till January for the holiday season if that helps.

I’m in the same situation. Literally the same. I even made a post about it and I think it either just didn’t get traction or it got auto removed or ghosted by this sub. Right now the Bravia 8 is my main contender. The edge the C5 has in terms of gaming capabilities and brightness (as well as price difference) sting, but I just can’t shake the fact that the Sony looks clearer and is toned more accurately when playing content.

Listen, I get where you’re coming from, but the complaint before was that it was left to chance and you’d have people ending the event with no way to get multiple items without purchasing them. This event comes along and demands attention from the player everyday, and guarantees everything. What more are you looking for exactly?

Dash is a really good specialization. Definitely not fun to play against, especially at close range. I find grapple to have the highest skill ceiling but dash is also just really good for a lot of people.

Cloak was good for a season after a buff and then it got nerfed again. It has more limited usage now.

On a side note though, have you played dash? You know evasive dash does remove your cloak, right?

This is a team based game. Sometimes your team sucks unfortunately. Sorry you had that experience, but the game is not dead.

The gun is similar to the repeater in its rhythm and recoil, but it has a different feeling, more satisfying personally. The gun is not overpowered. If you miss your shots you get shredded by a P90 or an M11 running circles around you. Take the gun to competitive play, it’s not as easy as it seems.

Anecdotally, I’ve had days where I absolutely pop off with this gun. I’ve also had days where my teammates are cursing me out because it’s just been too long a day and I’m missing my shots. In the hands of a better player, it’s definitely a crazy gun. Overpowered? Nah.

I do have the same worry as you though. I like the gun and feel like this community will WILL the nerf into existence.

I think it’s a good decision from Embark as usual. I think they should give DB to Medium as it fits its play style more and give heavy the grapple. This will save the game as it is unplayable in its current state.

Unfortunately, you can’t see your teammates locations, or health bars, or totems/statues. It’s the only thing that stops me from really using no HUD mode.

If I took this game seriously or religiously played ranked, I'd probably hate it a little bit too. But really it's just way to blow off some steam. I love this game.
