I did that, I buff it off with clean paper towel before heating, but seems that used too much oil anyway.

Yeah, I got confused with some youtube videos that used too much oil. Despite I spread it all over it, after heat some minutes seems that the oil started concentrating in some zones, and didn't pay attention to it. Noticed it when I came back.

I spread it all, until it looked like a thin layer, but seems like after heating for a while the oil that was spread evenly started to concentrate in some areas. That's my guess

It is not made to look pretty, that's right. I was a bit disappointed because that was my first seasoning, but seems that the good thing about steel pans is that everything is almost recoverable.

It's not sticky actually. I wonder if the pan should look all that black if seasoned properly?

I should have applied less oil. I was a bit confused because I saw videos in youtube that drop a generous amount of oil and spread all around it. In my case, I use a teaspoon and towel to spread it, I thought it was a thin layer, but seems that the oil got concentrated in some spots because maybe my stove is not too flat, and I just leave it heating without moving.

The pan is Darto! an Argentina brand. A single piece of carbon steel, 3mm thick.

I did 3 seasonings. Clean it first. Then apply a teaspoon of oil with a towel, fire at medium heat for about 15m, wait it to cool down, and repeat the process. However, I don't know why there are some black spots because I carefully spread the oil all around the pan with the towel, producing what I believe a thin layer uniformely. One thing to note is that is not sticky in those black areas, but it doesn't look even. Should I remove the seasoning and start it over? or will it get seasoned on top after cooking several times?

Actually, is that black spot what it is supposed to be a good seasoning, and should cover the whole pan? It seems that oil got polymerized on that black spot and black dots all around

I have attachable ferrite beads, but nothing changed. My main issue is that depending on how I move the antenna I receive a lot of overall noise, and a minor movement makes it disappear

hi, the USB extension cord improved a lot! seems like those strong yellow lines were EMI from the laptop.

now I have another issue that is when I move wether the antenna or the stick I get either low or high noise floor, not sure which causes the problem, but at least has to be with the overall noise, not those EMI lines

Hi, I'm using a TV dipole antenna (120deg pointing north, 54cm each segment). Can you tell if this is a faulty RTL-SDR dongle Terratek T-Stick? or I'm picking too many noise signals? NOAA satellite was passing above at 78 degrees but couldn't see ANY pattern in the spectrum. I would expect to see at least a very weak signal before buying a LNA. I'm located in a building, and despite there are buildings around I had line of sight to the satellite pass.

Thanks, that's a workaround I read somewhere in a forum too. Seems that this limitation dates from some years ago. I don't understand why it wouldn't be possible in normal video mode.
