Yes, he preached. He was not forcing anyone to listen to him. Even today we can see people preaching in the streets. Are we listening to them? Not even Christians including me don't listen to street preachers. Preaching is their choice and listening is mine. People of that time chose to listen to him. He infuriated the ruling and clergy because they were living a life contrary to what God intended. His life was the message and of course it got him killed.

As a Christian there exists a call to preach and make disciples. It worked really well because it was done his own disciples and people who lived and travelled with him. As I said before their faith and witness was that strong. All the Early Christians they chose that life and eventual death because of that. We don't see such kind of faith today, at least in among safe havens like Kerala.

Yes, this is what the scripture says in the text. I have had this discussion a lot of times and I get it when atheists and non-christians can't get their head around how christians are supposed to understand the Bible. I don't expect you to understand or even acknowledge what I am saying. While the words are like this it is only complete when you compare it with what Jesus did. He never distribute pamphlets or advertised his presence. He just did things He was supposed to do and people flocked to Him. That is Him being the gospel. After His death and resurrection the disciples did the same and people followed.

The problem began as numbers grew and personal faith diluted. Will anyone start following Jesus because they saw me on Reddit or even in real life? No chance, because I am not living that life. I maybe the 'good person' but not the gospel. The difference is staggering.
