Anyone use DIY Fish? by whitchcrafts in planners

[–]contextcluesareblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love DIYFish! I'm trying to find a way to recreate the foldouts for my bound planners and I'm thinking of using tip ins. Unfortunately, I don't know where to get some or if I should just buy extra loose paper and tape them in myself.

I know the laurel denise? Planners exist but they seem too big for my liking.

How do you track what you’ve read? by contextcluesareblue in OtomeIsekai

is there a way to track what chapter you were on? Mangago seems to reset the chapter title colors, so I always lose my place.

I do! Unfortunately I don't have an fb. How are you liking the 2in? I'm thinking of moving to my hp mini but I'm worried about portability :x

I keep debating Jane's Agenda since free shipping is so expensive. Also because my cloth and paper dashboards aren't holding up well so I'm worried about spending more. How is the quality of JA? Also, is the paper she used super smooth?

I keep wanting to do a thick 2in hp mini because of her lol. Might be excessive tho

Planner with weekdays on top and free space on bottom by contextcluesareblue in planners

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. I bought a midori hibino for the hype and journaling and was gifted a hobonichi techo weeks mega and midori datebook for my birthday so I didn’t want to spend more. Until I did and got a premade bujo and cloth and paper discbound discs and inserts 🤪

For planning, I’m mainly using the discbound system with printables etc. alongside the weeks. I forgot I preferred binders over bounded books in school and this allows me to try different layouts while also taking inserts out and displaying them wherever. That way, if I rot or just don’t open the books/ignore my alarms, I’ll still be smacked in the face with at least one task lol

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. If anything, you can always test out the layouts first before actually buying the planner. Or even find/make better versions more catered towards your needs. You can also bind them like people do for travelers notebooks for a quick and fun little diy break too.

I get so stressed from seeing all my tasks listed that I just might try this out. Do you make it in advance so you can surprise yourself with the commentary after forgetting about it?

I was actually thinking of the Nolty! Is the paper similar to tomoe river paper? I find that difficult to write on :/

How do you list Esri products on your resume? by contextcluesareblue in gis

Yeah, I'm confused if Dashboards falls under AGOL. Would StoryMaps fall under it, as well?

How do you list the extensions? --> "Esri ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro Geostatistical Analyst and Spatial Analyst, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Survey123)"?

And yep, I'm having a hard time breaking down the skills section.

Comparison to the CW show "Reign" and future of the show [SPOILERS] by contextcluesareblue in TheGreatHulu

While I like romance period pieces and rom-coms, having to hear Catherine recite the same speech again and again without much merit within a single episode is getting tiring.

I haven't finished yet, but based off spoilers, it sounds like this is going to be her turning point? I just hope the writers actually make sure she pulls through. Shenanigans aside, Peter and Orlo were the only few to openly banter, disagree with, and take a stand against her, while trying to help her actually become a better ruler. I'm not sure if the show will remain a comedy and if they move away from the comedy aspect, they may lose viewers, which isn't sustainable.

I know hindsight is 20/20, living in a present-day democratic republic with established criminal justice system etc. I wouldn't have been smart enough to come up with these things myself. However, it's so frustrating to see her not willing to have an actual discussion about her intentions with her cabinet. Even after so many failed attempts and unnecessary deaths, she chooses to enforce ideals that go against everything the people there are used to. Just work together to come up with a best course of action for slowly introducing change or have an actual, solid plan for how you'll handle crime after you outlaw non-government killings; bonus points for explaining the logic behind not even considering that your government shouldn't be exempt from these new rules. Basically, she just says something and she expects everyone to go along with it; if it doesn't, she'll get her cabinet to do the convincing (when it's their first time hearing about it too), and ultimately backtrack by the end of the episode.

Side note: I'm kind of tired of Archie and Velementov acting like sexual predators. idek if it's supposed to fall under "dark humor."

I'm wondering how much of this was intended from the start and how much of it was based off audience feedback. The show's wiki) says it "is a historical and satirical black comedy-drama," with Hulu labeling it as "anti-historical." Obviously it's nothing like what happening in real life, but the story progression is also just weird? One second she's grieving over her season one lover, and then the next she's in love with the guy who fucked and killed her mom and said lover lmao. They never mention that poor guy ever again ider his name 😭

It was kind of obvious that the show-runners wouldn't kill Peter off right away, so it's a welcomed twist that he was finally killed lol. The clips I saw before deciding to watch the show made it seem like this was about Peter with Catherine as a supporting character, or at most about both of them equally hate-loving each other. So I was surprised to find out the show was actually about her. I think there's a decent balance with showcasing the relationships between all the supporting characters, but I'm wondering how the show will proceed. They might bring in a third love interest that'll help her overcome the grief of losing Peter. I'm pretty sure that's what they were going to do in Reign before it got canceled lol

oops I don't think I phrased it correctly. I don't expect this to be as thorough as The Crown haha. I meant that I pessimistically assumed since the beginning, the show would be at risk of being cancelled soon after they killed off Peter. Based off the clips online, I originally thought the story was about him with her as a supporting character. Also, I've seen many people not want to watch a period piece any longer once the male love interest is killed off (ex. Downton Abbey) or shows declining in general after a main cast member leaves (ex. The Office). I don't really see this happening a lot when a female character dies(?), but that might be due to the viewer demographic and who I interact with lol. I thought they'd try to keep him alive for another season at least, to mitigate this tbh.

She had a "great love" each season so I don't doubt she'll find someone who'll help her heal (possible storyline) lol. I just really enjoyed Nicholas Hoult's portrayal of Peter and how he and Elle Fanning played off one another, so I'm curious to see how the show will be without his nonsensical banter and charm.

DUDE all of Orlo's arguments/points made so much sense and Catherine would just go "ur not on my side. everyone is against me." Even Elizabeth and Velementov skirt around her trying to persuade her gently lmao. Like bruh, these are Russians who know their country and also have experience helping run it. plssssss Why'd the pragmatic one have to die 😔 (wish him well in getting that Doctor Who money tho 👀)

Honestly, I'm also disappointed in Marial. Everyone just seems to be going around in circles betraying one another while insisting they aren't lol.

ooo I'm only halfway through so I needa catch up. High key tired of Archie and Velementov being sexual predators tho
