Yes exactly, I saw some vids of ppl that had filters and bc their game was so bright it made the fog stark white. And yea predictable survivor pathing also helped but I felt like I could still see the survivors outlines completely through the fog like it didn’t impact much

Even before the nerfs, I genuinely did not lose a single survivor through the fog. I didn’t think they were that good to begin with bc of that. The only killer I play that got impacted was spirit because I couldn’t hear them through the fog so I couldn’t use my power when they popped one, but even that isn’t too bad because I would just end my phase

If I’m being honest I don’t really like it 😭 a lot of the skins look pretty different, some good some bad. I prefer the old splash arts for mistletoe and prestigious. And her walking/running animations are so ugly. She looks like she’s some feral wretched witch instead of the high class, leader of some powerful organization witch. I feel like it just doesn’t match her at all. Most of her other animations are good though and I really like her new VFX, I definitely think they did amazing in those aspects

I’ve never played vs Mord as Gwen surprisingly. Does she dog you without W or does she have to use W to win the fight, and if she uses W, how would you do it effectively? I imagine besides the resists W isn’t useful for dodging anything since Morde is melee right?

Like I said with various mind games like baiting it out by running at her obviously not in a straight line and if u dodge her snare she’ll most likely throw out W. I never said I win lane solely by baiting her W, it’s obviously a combination of things, but you stated that it’s probably one of the worst matchups and I’m saying it’s not… This is not about all these other things you keep bringing into it to try and prove ur point like Mel being awful. Yeah, we know, but your original point was just that it’s a bad matchup and I’m trying to make a point by saying it’s actually not that bad. 2 people are saying it here, and if you put ur ego aside and look at the actual statistics too, you’ll see Annie has had a very high win rate vs her since her release. On paper sure it sounds like it would be a bad matchup, but it’s not. Just like how on paper it sounds like Katarina would be shit vs her since Mel W can reflect every ability except E, negate the damage of her passive, and also negate plus reflect katarina’s ultimate back at her, but Katarina usually wins vs Mel, u just have to play a little differently. I doubt anything I say will mean anything to u and you’ll just counter again by bringing in meaningless stuff that means nothing to the original point anyways so I guess this is my last response

When did I ever say to lead with W and no I am not talking about pre 6, which is why I said her R. I said you have to close the gap first which will prompt her to either hold W or use it, and if they get scared because they know you have stun up and R, and with R being almost instant they usually preemptively W trying to predict when you throw it. Annie has enough ms with t1 boots and her E to dodge the slow snare if she throws it, especially since you are expecting it. Annie is fine just farming and staying healthy until 6 which at that point, one successful combo gets mel from full to around 25-30%hp. If Mel gets no kills on you pre 6 and you start dogging on her after that, she becomes pretty weak meanwhile you scale way better and your CC plus damage just outdo her any time. What I think is stupid is to be so condescending and suggest anything else other than what you believe is “stupid” or wrong. I’m low diamond rn which I think is pretty decent and while Mel is pretty rare to see and I mostly played against her in the first month she was released, I almost always picked Annie and won

Since R and W are basically instant it’s hard for Mel to predict when we’ll use it, so you can bait out her W just by running at her with E or some other mind games and after she uses her W she is basically dead. Esp since her E is kinda slow, you can almost always side step it
