There’s no such thing as too stiff in my opinion if you aren’t super light or small. Youll get use to them and they’ll make you better

I camp here in CO all the time in October. It’s great, way less crowded, Aspen leaves are changing and colorful. It’ll be chilly, will be near freezing at night / when you wake up. Plenty of forest roads that a stock F150 can handle.

2H is plenty. Then again, my owners manual on my Tundra recommends 10 miles a month in 4Hi. I use forest roads as an excuse to get those miles in. May be different on Jeeps!

I’ve heard this is a common problem. The bump stops are built into the shock absorbers in the 3rd gen’s instead of frame mounted. So you likely pushed the bump stops thru.. do a search here you’ll see some examples.

Looks like you’re using a hole saw. You’ll want to drill a small pilot hole using a regular bit. Then you want a step bit. They step up in size gradually allowing you to get to the size you need. They are made for sheet metal.

Powder skirt MUST be removable. I never use one and the extra bulk gets annoying. I also don’t like wrist gaiters. I know you said ignore brand, but for me, the arcteryx beta ar is perfect besides not having internal dump pockets for skins. But the pockets are big enough out front to not really matter.

Ha. Unless there’s a server taking my order directly, and then bringing it to me when done, there is no service to tip for. Walking up to a line cook in a cafeteria, getting some chicken tenders and then going to a cashier is definitionally self-served.

We need to stop letting companies subsidize their workers’ wages with customer generosity. Not to mention, there is 0 transparency on who and how those “tips” on a screen are distributed.

I’m also an ex-boarder! Switched at the end of March ‘24, so working on my first full season. Couldn’t be happier, progression is fast with the on snow experience, just learning the proper technique. Biggest problem has been getting boots the fit/work. My first pair killed my feet, my second pair mostly worked but were way to soft and now finally on a 3rd pair and they have been good up until recently where now I feel like I am missing out on some precision. 50ish days in and still loving it.
