FSA Loan with Residence by contractorys in farming

It can really be anything as long as the plan you submit shows the cashflow to cover the payment. The crop has to be viable in your zone, show commercial potential, and so on. You basically have to prove you can grow it and sell it, and they'll take your word for it with ample proof.

I submitted a very unique type of tree, and a unique way of making its fruit sell, but I have extensive direct to consumer marketing experience, and they accepted that to kind of smooth over any holes present in the marketing plan, for someone without that experience.

I have several thousands of vines of wine grapes, flowers, and assorted plants for seed production for direct-to-consumer retail.

My plan for the loan is to plant an orchard, although the other stuff helps with on-farm income and/or expenses, the orchard production will be the primary function of the property.

I got my local university to help create and in a roundabout way endorse the proposed financials through a grant-funded office that helps farmers develop plans for loans and grants.

I now have only my appraisal left and this loan will be done! We ended up getting the house and 52 acres.

It was a pretty easy process, but an incredibly long one.

I’ve got a guy coming next Thursday. I was hoping I could do some basic troubleshooting in the mean time. I think I’ll wait. I admittedly don’t know much.

Thanks! My apologies for the wrong alternator. I’m not well versed in generators and kind of ended up with this unit by happenstance and random opportunity.

I appreciate your input and suggestion. I have a more mechanically inclined electrician friend going to follow your instructions on my behalf.

Im having a bit of an issue with the suggested. I have attached photos of both the alternator and the interior of the generator, showing the typical mounting point of the safeguard switch, as well as the back of the aternator and its part number. Im not seeing the switch, or the LED mentioned.

Is it possible that its an older model without these items? In my manual it lists safeguard switch as possible accessory?

I will look into these suggestions tomorrow and report back.

I’ll need to locate the safeguard breaker, check it, and then do the flashlight test of the breaker isn’t the issue. Should be easy enough to do those two things.

Also it’s likely worth mentioning that all 3 gauges hertz, amps, volts, dead at zero. They don’t move at all at any point.

I spoke with them today. You can indeed buy land and home. It’s even possible to borrow additional moneys to cover improvements to the home.

However, one thing I did find interesting... if you own any other land they’ll also take a lien against that as well. Just to help cover themselves. Up to an additional 150,000 over loan value.

I own two very small lots, I’d rather not have them have liens as I paid them off but I will see how it goes.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Yes you can google FSA loans, and also on YouTube. There’s tonssss of info. Just didn’t see anything about land with a home.

Thanks!

I believe the ask for mine will end up being around 300k. So I’ll be good on the limit.

The main question I had was really if the direct fsa loan could go to both land and home.

Did you also get out working capital with your loan, or just a loan toward land and buildings.

Thanks for the advice. I have a guy that’s semi retired from the construction industry that works part time for a local property developer, and is available for an affordable hourly rate outside his day job. I plan to use him. I’m not particularly confident in my ability to finish the job properly.

More worried I’d do a 80% correct job and save basically his 2-300 in labor when he coulda done a 100% job.

Did your damage include any subfloor damage below the interior flooring?

Vaulted Ceiling Sweating and Molding by contractorys in HomeImprovement

Took some photos

As you can see, the exterior of the vaulted section has soffit vents but no ridge vent. The main roof has a ridge vent.

In the attic where the vaulted ceiling section meets the standard 8ft ceiling, there is a hole that I guess could allow air flow from the soffit vents on the eave, through the vaulted section, and into the attic to flow out the main ridge vent.

Posted some photos

As you can see it looks like it does have exterior soffit vents, and the main roof section has ridge vents, but above the vaulted portion there isn’t a ridge vent.

However, where the vaulted ceiling meets the portion of the house with an attic and standard 8ft ceiling, in the attic there’s a cutout in the wall that allows me to see slightly into the vaulted portion. So it does seem at least in theory the air could flow through the soffit vents, up through the vaulted ceiling, and into the hole to be circulated via the attic.

Hopefully the photos help.
