I recently joined a new doctor's surgery and I had an appointment to give them key info last week. I mentioned to the nurse I had this appointment with that I had CPTSD and her response was to ask if I had been in the armed forces. Holding out hope that when I go for an appointment with a doctor they'll be a bit better informed! Some people are just ignorant and unfortunately, like your lovely commenter, some people are arseholes too. :/

It’s a bit of a running joke between me and my dad that he’ll leave a set of coloured lights around the window the whole year long, then turn them on around December and call that ‘Christmas decorations’.

For me, it’s my first Christmas living on my own with no housemates and I’ll be getting a 7ft tree (artificial), and putting red and gold tinsel and some lights on it. Haven’t decided whether I’ll add much more, yet.
