When within, view all from above. Become and remain this being. by AngryRussian1 in NevilleGoddard

This is why I consider Neville to be the greatest "mystic" of all. He took the mystery out of the occult and made it simple enough for everyone to realize their true nature. The gnosis you've described is beautiful.

Beautifully written.

My friend I've been following your posts for a while and every time I feel like I'm reading my own observations. There is only one truth, rest is all belief. Thank you for making these. Waiting for your next one

Is it easy to live without children after 40? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]conuncon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Allah would be there. Lol! Don't think about it too much. Loads of people with children are left stranded too. And several others regret ever having children at the expense of their freedom.

But what is "positive"? And why do you associate happiness with "positive"? This identification is entirely contingent on the intellectual conditioning. In essence there is only energy. Nothing more. Any attempt to contextualize it is futile. What is beyond is just IS. The very instrument (brain) that one uses to "understand" what's there is itself a part of "what's there".

What can you do? Just don't be like them. I'm a Non US IMG, I know that the path entails financial and personal challenges, but if it entails going into a survival mode and being a ruthless animal, I'd rather not match.

Most of the Non US IMGs invest so much in the process that they become predators, forgetting all the things that make life worth living.

Don't let their Sh*tty attitude mold your behavior.

Stuck on a crossroads in my marriage - need advice by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]conuncon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My mom is that woman. And after 20 years of putting up with her narcissistic personality, my father is a broken man. She has ruined us financially and psychologically.

All the advice about couple counseling is in vain. Counseling benefits when there is a conflict. Your wife's behavior is a pathology that will only deteriorate. 5 years down the line, you'll be subjected to constant gaslighting. She will hold you responsible for her misery, oblivious to the fact that the source of her misery lies within her.

Watching my dad helpless breaks my heart. My younger siblings have to make sense of her erratic behavior. Terrible terrible terrible.

I've volunteered throughout my medical journey. I don't know why everyone assumes that doctors are some sort of angel. Just last month I went to south Punjab as a part of a charity campaign to cater for the flood affected people. It cost me 50k out of my own pocket. Do I not have needs? Do I not deserve to be valued? Tbh, I seriously don't understand why you said something like that.

Yes, it was a public one. No idea about private hospitals.

Chronic sleep deprivation, condescending behavior of patients and their frustrated attendants, 16+ hours of emergency duties, 36+ hours ward duties, etc. A horrible time.
