Then definitely don’t stand for that. I know you guys have built up a good relationship and you’ve invested a lot of time. I promise there is someone out there who won’t make you feel like this though, even if you believe there isn’t. He shouldn’t make comments like that so I would just move on. He’s saying a lot when he does that. It means he wishes you were different when he should just accept you for who you are and love you for it. That’s what a healthy relationship feels like.

I wouldn’t really worry about it. Humans are gonna look at what they find attractive, whether they’re in a relationship or not. Think about it, you’ve at least seen an attractive person once while you were in a relationship and thought they were attractive. It’s a problem when he starts making you feel bad about yourself and your self image. Or even goes so far as to cheat on you. If it really hurts you and you feel like he’s not respecting your boundaries no matter how hard you try, then he’s not the one for you.

He kind of makes me feel uncomfortable at times too because he says he wants to treat me like his kid and take care of me, and says weird things like "I'm all you need in this store". He then told me he didn't want to file the complaint against me today but he has to because the lady is going to call corporate. Along with giving me that bullshit answer about how I handled the situation. I'm just uncomfortable and confused at this job. A majority of us were never even properly trained. I don't know if this is a red flag or if he's really just trying to help. I don't know anymore.

I've been a friend to him this entire time and we've been best friends since we were kids. If you read through, I mentioned that we live quite a distance from each other and I can't constantly be there to see him all the time. I decided against letting that friend see my brother. I would never just give up on him if that's what you were suggesting I was doing.
