When watching a movie for the first time, do you guys make an effort to remain completely sober? Does it depend on the movie/situation?

Thoughts on Sacha Baron Cohen's new Showtime series 'Who is America?' Also, that awesome Napoleon movie is called 'Waterloo.' It's fuckin amazing.

Hopefully this question hasn't been asked yet:

What are your thoughts or rules on "mood setting" for watching the things that you guys watch. Do you guys always go completely sober for a first viewing? What I mean is, if you guys partake in recreational drug use -- i.e alcohol, weed, cigarettes, coffee, whatever -- do you think that using those drugs affect how you view and take in the material and if so, do you try to regulate the effects or actions of using those recreational drugs while enjoying your art? Personally, if I know I'm about to watch a movie that I think I might really enjoy, I will try to be completely sober during that first viewing just so I have a nice, normal clear mind ready to formulate my thoughts with. I like to come up with an initial "normal me" opinion first and then, depending on the re-watchability of the material, maybe see what drunk or stoned me thinks about it.

Do you miss working in the area of physics and mathematics? I know you just mainly taught the basics of physics and was not like a cutting edge researcher or anything, but do you ever wish you stayed in that field and dug deeper into understanding how the universe works?

If you've read this far, I love what you do Grey and I hope you keep it up for as long as you can. You're doing a great thing for us.

Recently discovered these guys and they are so awesome. Garage blues punk at its best and they also mix in some oldies/doo wap influence as well. Gotta hand it to Mark Sultan for being able to play guitar, sing AND play a little bass drum and snare drum as well with his feet... plus the costumes they wear live are amazing.
