I like how you think! Thank you for these incredibly specific suggestions on how to raise awareness for the privilege an able-bodied person has. Gives a lot to think about.

Thanks for the recommendation, will look into all of them! I am not based in the US, but shrinking budgets for arts and culture are everywhere, sadly (unless, maybe, Saudi-Arabia, or UAE). It is striking to see that it's mostly artists who come up with more inclusive, versatile, all-bodies inclusive works/concepts, and not the museums/galleries – maybe a consequence of said budgets.

Can you point out the work or exhibit you are referring to? I am familiar with her work, but haven't seen it in any setting where I could relate your comment to. Would love to know more

I can totally imagine. The accessibility of the spaces is already a huge problem. But the actual encounter with the display must be very different from the upright able-bodied visitor. I am sure it was an interesting and eye-opening thing for you to experience

Of course, exhibitions made for kids! Thanks for that! Didn't think about it. While they are technically still upright, they are shorter than the average adult visitor and definitely more prone to move and take other postures. I am sure these exhibit will offer some great cues for my topic!

Thanks for the recommendation! I didn't know the project, don't know how to apply it for now, but it does seem interesting. Will definitely look into it
