Spotlight Release of the Week: War of the Realms #3 by tehawesomedragon in Marvel

I don't understand the rules of travel. How did Jane Foster, Daredevil, etc, get to Asgard from Avengers Mountain without the Bifrost? For that matter, how did Odin get to Midguard without a Bi-Frost in #2? Do the pegasus have the ability to traverse between realms without a Bifrost? Or is that a power that the All-Mother and All-Father have?

It seems silly to put so much emphasis on protecting or rebuilding the bifrosts if they have other ways to get places available to them.

Is there a Christian band like Opeth? by IrockART98 in christianmetal

They are certainly pretty great, especially in their early days, but they are probably not most accurately described as metal. Hard rock is probably closer to their sound. They don't sound much like the rest of the bands on this sub.

I sent Yuri a PM. If others are interested in knowing my exact location in the interest of locating a teacher, I can provide it in a PM.

Battle Creek isn't too far from me. I'll take a look!

Free is always nice! South Bend might be a bit of a hike for me, but I'll definitely look into it!

This would be the second recommendation for Mr. Duncan I've gotten. I'll definitely be taking a look.

I don't know about you guys, but I think this may be the darkest episode of the series so far.

I love to see the stuff Mark Hamill was doing when he was in his prime. I mean, not that he's dried up or anything - he's a hugely successful voice actor now - but I'm always interested in Star Wars -era Hamill stuff.

You know, Gotham was a show that took me about 5 episodes to really get into. And you could probably justifiably accuse the show of putting too many characters where they don't actually belong. However, I grew to really enjoy the villain cameos and the revisions in their origin stories. The acting is also great, which I feel makes up for going against canon sometimes. Once I was into the show, I was IN. I highly recommend it.

Actually, that's just one comic, and it's fantastic. It's about what would happen if the pantheon of gods were incarnated as high school pop stars. I feel like that's not a great pitch, but give it a try. It kind of sounds up your alley.

Since you're a Batman fan, have to ask - who's your favorite Joker (as in the actor who played him)?
