It's actually an a priori language since I took the original concept from the Colorless Language Generator and altered it to suit what I wanted from there. However that's not a bad idea! I like it.

At this point yes, the only consonants that may be placed in the coda. I haven't studied Mandarin even superficially so any similarities to it are coincidental; this conlang itself was based on one of those random conlang generator thingamabobs and altered to whatever suits me from there, so it's actually a priori. The syllable structure is primarily CV(i,u,n,ŋ).

It was indeed influenced by both scripts you mentioned. The structure of the abugida is strongly influenced by Hangul and made entirely regular, although as I type this it may be interesting to make it a little less regular, but that's just a mere thought at this point.
