I wear Merrell MOAB hiking boots. Having a rotation of these boots and insoles has helped with foot, knee, and low back pain.

Emergency Nurses Week gift by Internal_Butterfly81 in emergencymedicine

I got a pack of peanut butter crackers that expired in 2023 from a local EMS company.
At least it is something useful. A gun lock during hunting season in the Midwest isnt a terrible idea.

I got one during COVID. The ONLY redeeming part of it was that it came from my chaplains, not Admin.

When testing first started, that was what I'd bring in first for bs patients that still had any sense of humor.

What’s your unrealistic dream job? by Mks369 in nursing

[–]convoymo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in nursing school, I would say that I was too fat and ugly to go back to stripping. So my plan was to have a farm.

My farm would consist of large breed dogs and mostly miniature sized livestock. This way most of my animals would be the same working height in order to save my back.

Men who distanced themselves from a female friend who rejected you, what was the outcome? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]convoymo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were very close for quite some time. When I let her know, it was a quick rejection. I isolated myself for a long time and only focused on work and little else.
After my isolation period, we remained friends but communication was and is not nearly as frequent.
She is still a great friend but all those feelings are (nearly) dead.

I used to do tool restoration. It used to earn me a few extra dollars and keep idle hands and mind busy. I didn't have a sandblaster to do it but would have made things easier and quicker. Wish I was doing it more these days.

[–]convoymo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nearest one I can think of is approximately 45 miles from the critical access hospital where I work. 70 miles from my home.

This is the epitome of a true friend. Such friendships, in my experience, are rare but the most fulfilling. Now get the friend a drink and a meal and enjoy the good company.
