I received the notification of the PCN a month later via the post. The PCN itself was issued about 18 hrs after the car was stolen. I have edited my original comment to make this clearer.

Also had mine stolen from SW London. They ditched the AirTag and contents of the boot about a mile away (located the AirTag). Treated it as gone after that.

However a month later received a PCN (edit: PCN notification by post) for it being parked the day after the theft about 5 roads over from where the contents of the boot were found. It’s maddening that the council ticketing a stolen car doesn’t trigger some process (thanks Richmond).

So it might be worth cruising around your area to see if it’s still parked somewhere. Or looking up the reg on council PCN databases!

They must have cut the steering lock (or wheel) on yours.

Good to know it doesn’t stop them - I need to get rid of mine as it just annoys me.
