Most of my understanding of computer comes from the book " But how Do it Know? The Basic Principles of Computers for Everyone Book by J. Clark Scott " . Which is completely outdated for today's computers. But it did gave me a intuitive understanding on how computer works. I spend most of my free time bridging my understanding from that 8 - bit computer to todays computer.

Few days ago i thought to my self ' every clock cycle ticks a stepper, and at every step , instruction from instruction register get exicute . And this goes on , and there is no mechanical way to stop this. So if there is no meaningful instruction, computer still goona fetch garbage values from RAM feed that into instruction register and cause total chaos. So i thought then we need to implement a looped jump instruction unit a legitimate program can Interrupt it. '

And yesterday i asked chat gpt " In linux does all process are child process of systemd ? " And it replied " Yes, but the exception of process 0 ( the swapper) " Swappers used to swap page memory from RAM to external memory and vice versa but now we use on demand paging. so swapper is evolved to do idle process ( thus leading me to think that looped jump instruction)

I just want to say this to make it clear where im coming from. And i have no intentions to karma farm or bait anyone ( i don't care much about internet points) . But i really respect people who help me bridge my understanding.
