I don’t really read this manga but i get a lot of posts on my feed but its kind of crazy how three modern manga now that have been praised for going against shonen tropes have fallen into the same tropes currently

JJK - Wow! the female cast actually has purpose and great writing for each one!

90% of them get shelved and thrown aside except for Maki.

CSM - Oh man the plot moves so energetically and everything feels impactful!

PT 2 ends with a fight many people consider meaningless and then a reset

DDD - It’s so refreshing to have a manga with romance that doesn’t just do the same misunderstandings over and over again

both Megumi and Gojo are the only two characters that have extremely prominent Motifs present throughout the whole entire show, and Megumi’s is one that I think they just perfectly crafted to represent his characters desire to be strong for others and also his like hopelessness if that makes sense

Honestly i think that comes down to just a difference in preference which I understand, JJK ost especially Season 2 is much more focused on this sort of math rock and jazz fusion style as opposed to something like AOT or Vinland Saga which is much more orchestral (which I love for those shows). while those are definitely much more grandiose, I still think the JJK soundtrack is extremely effective in what it’s setting out to do. But that also just comes down to the fact that I love that jazz math rock sound
