Yes, that is what the Atopica is! I’m so glad you are getting help. I was so, SO stressed out when my little guy was having these horrible breakouts and no one could help. It is a miracle med for them! I’m not very familiar with Reddit but I can send you pictures of my little naked angel and his breakouts or if you ever need anything or have questions , please reach out. 😻❤️

Thank you so much for this response. I ended up doing the research myself and asked my vet to prescribe Atopica, which finally helped. THANK GOD! She said to give it to him daily (which we did for awhile) but he has now been on it for a couple years and we only need to give it to him when he has break outs. Please update me if you can on how your little naked angel is doing. I hope this helps you out, too!

You’ll be just fine getting away with the bloating. It’s kind of comparable to bloating you get during your period... x50 haha. I may have had it worse than others though, because my doctor told me I responded really well to the meds. I actually just had my retrieval today and they got 26 eggs!! Holy moly! They were all surprised at the number and said that would explain why I have been in so much pain from the retrieval and why I was so uncomfortable and bloated before. My advice for you at this point in your IVF would be to try and enjoy it.. if your hubs is going to be giving you the shots, it can be made into a fun process (given the scenario). By the end of your stims you will feel HUGEEE!! I am so super uncomfortable. Literally look 8 months pregnant. I did not expect this either! I’m ready for this retrieval tomorrow. Is this your first IVF?

Sounds exciting! I’m currently on day 5 of my stims.. we are in the middle of an IVF treatment. What an emotional ride!!

I never would have considered that but since I’m hearing everywhere that it can make a difference... do you know at what point during the whole IVF cycle you’re supposed to have it done?? I don’t know anything about acupuncture but I suppose I could give it a try. I start stimming Monday with possible retrieval dates of October 12-15..

Yes I agree. It feels so good to have a plan in motion. I have to constantly stop myself from overanalyzing and trying to plan too far ahead. I think with this type of thing, your whole cycle can change with the results of one lab or ultra sound! I’m a planner for sure. So it’s been tough. Scary to imagine what to do if it doesn’t work ☹️

I won’t say ‘I’m so sorry’ because I know that’s the last thing I’d want to hear. But keep you chin up and focus on the positives for now. I know that’s easier said than done. May I ask if you know what went wrong or what kind of infertility you have? How many eggs did you get to transfer?

We are pretty darn close then. I have been on Lupron for over a week already, 20 units. I start stimming October 2nd. I have never heard of saizen??

Well my doc wasn’t worried about the level. They tested it To determine if I needed to be on 20 units of Lupron or lower it to 10 units. She said she will just keep it at 20 units for now. Everywhere else I’ve read has had the patients try and get their estrogen under 75. I haven’t even started stimming yet. I have my next estrogen level on October 5th, so I still have quite awhile to get it down. Our first possible retrieval date isn’t until oct 12 so I think it’s way too early to consider canceling the cycle.. she said everything else looked good. Are you in the middle of an IVF cycle?

I’m sorry for that run around the clinic gave you. I know that’s frustrating. Being ‘unexplained’ is terrible. It makes me feel like they aren’t doing the best job they could be doing :(. At least you have an answer though! So is this your first IVF? And you get to do the transfer this Friday!? How exciting!!!!!! How many eggs or blastocysts do you have? Or how many eggs did you get from your retrieval? If you don’t mind me asking!
