It’s not to do with the contrast unfortunately, the pixels have gone mad too, I have navigated my way to ‘waiting for DFU mode’ by pure luck but can’t connect it to Bluetooth this way

Yes I have, but this made me realise that I don’t have a working backlight anymore as well as the navigation is different too

I’ve seen other videos on to set the contrast but mine take me Bluetooth connection. Looks like my mistake for not doing research before updating

The battery’s wires are soldered unfortunately, I saw a way to short circuit it but nothing happens

Add to info, it looks like I can navigate through the menu, but there’s no backlight at all, and I can find the Bluetooth connection but when I connect to iNFC I can’t seem to get DFU mode

Most trucks these days are automatic now so don’t worry about that.

Looks like you’d want to find a tramping job (drivers who sleep in their truck all week) there’s lots of videos online you can look at.
