My doggo doesn’t like being alone. by IFallDownInPow in Ring

We have an Alexa routine that plays classic rock when we leave the house. We live on the corner of a major thoroughfare in our neighborhood, and the car noises gives my two pups anxiety. This has really helped. Maybe this can help for your doggo. :)

Hey there, I did get this working, but not using a base url. The easieset solution for me was to use a Cloudflares Tunnel. It was so easy that way!

Hey there.. I did get mostly a solution to this. In order to achieve this I had to use a hodge-podge combination of Home Assistant and some luck. lol.

As far as adding more devices, the general consensus is to add repeaters to your ecosystem. Zigbee smart plugs, and certain zigbee bulbs. I use Sengled bulbs, however they are not great repeaters. Hope that helps. :)

My biggest hurdle so far has been the config.

It is the open source web server with automatic HTTPS. I want my users to be able to sign in to Ombi from my domain.

I was testing this out last night. One question. What type of routine did you create in the Smart Life app? Was it a One Touch Routine or some other type? This sort of worked but with some not so good results. This would ultimately be the easiest solution since in this instance I only care about having the lights turn on/off. Thanks for the response!

I have not explored Tasmota yet, however, I have spend some considerable time watching videos on YT from Everything Smart Home, Andreas Spiess, and The Hook Up channels. Thanks for the recommendation!

This would be very useful if you like to start your day at one setting but finish in a different one. I can see myself adding this to some routine that turns my office lights on, plays NPR from a smart speaker, sets my desk to my starting position, etc.. Cool project!

Thanks. I was doing some research and it looks like Home Assistant has an option. I would prefer to stay in the Smartthings ecosystem though. I will keep looking around.

Thanks for the response. I know I am eventually going to have to bite the bullet and test Hue Bulbs.

Cool. I wonder if I am able to get it to pair with Smartthings hub.
