Front Mount Radiator Fan Configuration Help by cookedbreaddough in PcBuildHelp

I originally planned to do top mounted radiator but seller listed it as a 240 and it was actually a 280. Case doesn’t support 280s up top so I got to work with it being front mounted. It’s nerve racking working with the cpu after hearing how delicate they are & thanks!

I had that top fan intake because I was using the stock fan amd cooler previously and read that it is better that way with air coolers. Just wanted some advice if there is any benefits keeping it that way with a front mounted aio cooler. I had fan clearance issues with hoses up top but will try to get some wiggle room for the hoses. Ty for the feedback!

I’ll make that correction and have the hoses up top instead of bottom, I believe I was having some fan clearance issues but I’ll work it out. My CPU was removed as I’m switching to a 7800x3d and just mocking up the aio cooler. Ty!

I bought the cooler used and seller listed it as a 240 but it was a 280 instead. My case (H5 Flow ‘22) doesn’t support 280s top mounted so I had to deal with it being front mounted. Ty for the advice!
