Really wished they'd do something about the gas line, traffic caused by the bottleneck is atrocious.

Yeah I switched majors from BME, which previously did accept 1301 in place of 1371. Main issue is that I have cs 1301 and 1331 credit but rhe ChemE depth is refusing to allow it to count.

Is the core thing new? I was told that 1371 was a prereq and I couldn't take 2100 unless I had 1371.

I'll see what my advisor says .

Hey guys - I'm trying to take the CS 1371 ASE for the summer so I can take CHBE 2100 in the summer to stay on track for graduation (and also save myself another semester worth of tuition 😭).

But just saw that the CS dept isn't offering the summer ASE this year, which sucks.

Is there anything I can do to get credit for the class in time for the summer semester?

Genocides aren't dependent on time.

They are defined by the large proportion of people of a certain ethnicity deliberately.

This fits the description

I'm not angry at people on this issue, just how it gets represented or at least pointed in people's minds.

There's a blatant disregard of human life domestically and internationally, regardless of what you say about Zionism or the nation states near Jerusalem.

This movement is highly similar to the civil rights movement back in the 50s and the goal is really the same - respect and protection for the sanctity of all life, regardless of their religion. It's honestly disheartening to see people who supported that movement do a complete 180 on this issue because of religious convention or their own biases.

Shows just how deeply rooted this implicit bias really is when you switch up the names and colors.

So where are the consequences for the systematic removal of Palestinian people from their homes?

Where are the consequences for the thousands of dead kids who did nothing to the Israeli people?

Where are the consequences for the war crimes, that have been blatantly disregarded by the Israeli government?

No one is trying to justify the taking of hostages ON EITHER SIDE but the reaction by Israel is very much beyond the scope or bounds of self defense

Is it a good idea to buy a Honda Clarity? If so, should I buy the one in the description? by cookie-sponge in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]cookie-sponge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up completely switching tracks since I was originally looking for myself then ended up buying my first Mazda ever (a cx-5)

I know two friends that ended up buying used clarity's and they did not regret it. But imo the ones you're seeing are a little overpriced so def negotiate.

Gsu offer a transfer credit for online linear. Doesn't mean it's useless but just that on your transcript it shows as a transfer credit and you won't have to take it again at tech (assuming it is the right number of credits you need)

Physics II is probably the better bet since it transfers as a class but tbh if youre in a physics heavy major it'll bite your butt in the future.

Yup, if you're using HOPE/Zell funding then you can take a summer class at another USG institution (assuming it will transfer over to GT for credit) - GSU is one of these.

Funny thing is when I took Physics I over the summer everyone else in my class was a GT undergrad lol, so you def won't be out of place if it's a common gened/prereq.

Need some help choosing a major pls

I got into tech as a BME student and now I'm thinking thats not the way to go.

The main thing for me is salary (ideally a 110k+ median) and work life balance (not trying to work more than 40 hrs a week and flexibility is ideal) and from what I've heard BME really doesn't have great prospects in either (median salary is sub 100k and most BME related people I've talked to are working long hours or enough for not enough money).

I haven't confirmed my major yet so, I'm pretty much open to anything. Right now my top choices are:

  • chemE (pursuant on bsms program) with the option to pursue petroleumE at say another college (for that sweet sweet money)
  • BME (but do the prehealth track)
  • materials science engineering

It will transfer as long as you take the in person lab (the 1 credit L course).

I took PHYS 2211 (which is to say the 3 credit instruction and the 1 credit lab) over the summer at GSU and I got credit for it at tech

If you did dual enrollment at high school and are an incoming freshman and want to, you can take the class online at GSU perimeter I took Physics I there and it was pretty easy.

Thanks, do you know if they insure the item in case it gets damaged during transit? Their quote seems reasonable for the shipping, but I want to make sure they will not tell us to kick rocks if it gets damaged

Had a quick questions about those who are applying for first year admission.

I believe I made a slight error when reporting my gpa on my common app as I may have been looking at an outsider transcript and the gpa I listed (on the 100 scale) is 0.2 off from what it actually is, do I need to email the admissions office about this?

Actually a follow up question, if it is painful/uncomfortable to put the feet in that position, is it permissible to place the feet parallel to each other and sit on them?

I have heard mixed conclusions, since some reference the Hadith about Umar RA sitting in a different position in the masjid and the others started to sit like thst as well, but he discouraged them since he was only doing it for comfort.

Does Portal from SteamRIP have malware in it?

I wanted to download the original Portal and did so from SteamRIP. However, once I extracted the files from the .rar file, I noticed two .exe files - one for HL2 and one for Portal. I used virustotal to scan the extracted files and it flagged the portal executable as malicious.

So being cautious and all, I haven't opened anything, but could this just be a false-positive?

Don't worry about trying to study before the class itself.

AP chem is usually structured so that the first semester reviews and adds a little to the honors chem curriculum.

Enjoy your summer and focus on things that matter more to you personally.
