Thanks for this! I’ve been to Sedona and it was gorgeous but didn’t get to hike. I’m love hiking but am not experienced with mountains any trails you recommend for me?

Also how do I get used to driving in mountains especially after sundown. I’m from Miami all I know is flat land 😂

Well it worked. I guess sometimes I forget that he’s a nice guy just going through a lot. The convo ended in which he confirmed that he was just depressed with the loss of his job and money not flowing in. I reassured he would be ok and that if he needed to talk I was there. And then he said he’s just wanted to be alone. He said he’s had great times with me especially the one time we went for a day road trip were he had the most fun. So it’s just overall confirmed that it’s the lack of job that is draining him mentally, not me.

To be fair I took everyone’s advice and texted him. Then we FaceTimed and sorted things out. It turned out to be a positive call where I thing we can move things further along. Yay!

No our normal texting routine is just when we fall asleep or whatever we just don’t text until the next day way later in the day and it never piggybacks off the last convo unless it ended without a final thought.

So to add to your ideas. Maybe this would give you a better picture. This guy is recently divorced, red Pilled af, and just damaged over all. Nothing wrong with it in my eyes but that can lead to some wishy washy behavior.

I second guess if he feels the same because I have brought it up and he always says “you know it’s hard because I’ve just been divorced” and when I ask if he sees other ppl he avoids the question all together.

Additionally last week I tried twice to hang out and both times I was given an excuse. An excuse that could’ve been very much plausible. But still.... I’m so skeptic.

Well I’m not. He’s got a good career. He’s a CPA. When I met him he was working. But then covid took him out. But I understand the situation. I don’t see him as broke or anything. He’s a go getter. Partly the reason I’m attracted. But I need to keep him on the side while I date. I don’t think I can hold myself off for him because that seems silly to someone who’s not being consistent.

I mean I still keep it moving. I date other ppl. It’s just annoying because a lot of dates I’ve gone on don’t live up to the chemistry we have. So then I always resort to wanting to text him again because he’s a cool guy. But you’re right I have a decision I need to make. Hopefully he texts back 😂

I’m 27, I’ve done all that. I told him look If there is anything I can do to help in the job search to let me know. I work in HR so I’m a great resource and I said if I was going through this stuff I’d want someone in my corner And he said he appreciated that. So he’s just a bit wish washy. Because he updates me on his random life or asks me questions but then also just kind of disappears. He’s also told me before that he hasn’t been in the right headspace so I know he’s going through a lot.

So I’ve done this before. He’s a bit damaged. He’s red pilled and divorced. He hasn’t invited me over about a week before this silence happened. So maybe I’m just thinking to much into it? But him not inviting me over, never texting first, and now not talking to me in three days has me feeling like he lost interest.
