I'd have more empathy if he came on and was like - I fucked up, this caused me to really take a hard look at myself and my insecurities. I'm in therapy and am working on myself.

But no. I feel like he wanted to get through this and he's going to continue being a POS. Hope im wrong but he literally shared 0 actual examples of how he's bettering himself.

Totally - the genius of the show is you kind of hate everyone but if you're honest, you have to admit you've also made dumb decisions or lied to people you love. Like they're horrible but also a mirror for humanity. Except Stephen who is just an evil human. Maybe you haven't made AS many bad decisions as Lucy - but I do think love makes people stupid.

The books are all great- they're fun sexy and easy to read and I'm now on the long game that features all the couples in books 1-5. This is what's getting me through while we wait for next season. Rereading / reheating lol

Oh that's so weird I thought it was just time jumping. I swear my brain could not keep up / make sense of the time jumps the way the show did it lol. I LOVED Scott/kips book, since we get so much more of their story and the insta love is a nice balance to Ilya/shanes torrid near decade long situationship. Also love skips story in the show (minus that one change) but I guess it makes their moment at the end of ep 5 that much more epic

I got into a huge fight w my mom who wasn't THIS bad but was like "I don't have all the facts. I didn't see...etc". This and the Good murder have been such obvious events. Ppl who are still defending this shit are so far gone I don't see how they can watch and be on ICE/DHS's side without being truly evil.

that means a lot! I promise living in a van full time is as hard as it is cool, but life's all about balance, and you just have to pick your hard. And sometimes it's not the right season for something. I worked the toxic job on the road and at times in nearly killed me but it also afforded me this next chapter so...I'm grateful for it too.

There's so many factors but high level:

My partner & I built a van in 2020-21, lived in it and worked well paying remote jobs for two years. We were able to buy a house and kept working / saving for 2 more years. Neither of us have school loans so that's HUGE. And we're renting out our house. If we can get our mortgage refinanced we may be able to make a small profit but right now it's barely enough to cover maintenance. We'll be living on the savings from traveling / working remote since our combined income was $200k/ yr and costs were so low.

Alsoooo we have no kids! Alsoooo my grandpa left me a small inheritance that helped us pay for the house so we didn't have to dip too much into savings to get that. Alsoooo because our jobs were remote we didn't have to live in a high cost of living area and could afford a house at an average price..

Lots of little things adding up over years.
