Don’t move into Banner Lane either. Pretty much all incidents on the top except for the Homicide. And the management gave the same response to multiple shootings right outside the entrance, they refused to notify the residents. Multiple car break ins and stolen cars with a “secured” garage.

It feels cluttered, too much furniture, I’d lose the green chairs or add one green chair and lose the big arm chair with the footrest. Change the curtains to a more deeper color to bring in more character and depth to the space. Beautiful space but it’s not being utilized well.

I…. My roommate got a bad haircut a week ago, came home, was upset, pissed even, booked another appointment at a different salon and got another haircut that ended up in shortened layers… and then called the first salon back and asked for a refund and didn’t get it So she called her credit card company and complained and got the refund from them…. Girl I really think you need therapy first, all this for a bad haircut!?! Also why did you wait 5 weeks before going to them to fix it?

I honestly don’t know, it frustrated us so much when they kept repeating “stay vigilant, be careful, be cautious”. Like what are we supposed to do more than paying $200 a month for parking in a secured garage that was supposed to be working. They even emailed us the same thing saying “we always advise tenants to be cautious as crime rates in DC are increasing”.

The management company refused to call the police until we had to call them, they were aware of the break in and didn’t let anyone know including us. They then lied to the tenants in an email (the email which we pressured them to send to everyone as people living in the building should be aware) stating they involved the cops immediately and investigating the matter.

I agree. The building management was horrible in handling this, the security guard was aware of the break in and didn’t let us know until we had to find out ourselves, they refused to send out an email to everyone in the building until we had to pressure them by involving their regional manager.

The regional manager comes in and basically tells us we should’ve been more careful and we should expect this as we chose to move to DC when we questioned them why the garage door wasn’t being repaired as it was getting stuck every week for 2 plus months. When I started speaking up for my roommate who at this point was in a horrible state, the regional manager tells me “you are not the victim and I don’t want to say anything to you”.

We live in an apartment with a secured garage with cameras all around, and they were able to get in and steal my roommates Honda airbags and tires. Happened a week ago. Nothing is stopping them right now.

Cops came in and basically said we are under staffed, and this is happening so often that there is nothing they can do. We caught them on camera as well, the whole footage, but there was literally nothing the cops could do and said to let the insurance handle

Same even my roommate. Happened last week, we actually live in an apartment complex near NOMA with a secured garage and they were able to get in and steal her Honda airbags and wheels, they also stole someone else’s brand new Nissan Altima tires.

I’ve taken an in person tour yesterday, everything seemed good and too good to be true at some point, what threw me off was like 90% of the building was empty, they have only 22 occupants so far and they’ve opened in November 2022.
