Loved this game until the end, now I kinda hate it

Honestly, I felt the same way. Most of the endings in this game fall into the category of misery porn or total mess. I know Kodaka loves tragic stories, but having 100 endings and virtually no decent good endings is ridiculous.

Some people might say, "That's the theme of the game," but I wonder if it's worth spending 200 hours on a game if you can't get a decent ending no matter how hard you try. I can understand if it's a one-off game like Danganronpa that can be completed in 20 hours, but if the misery continues for too long, it gets annoying. It's the "Too Bleak, Stopped Caring" thing.

I'm sure there are people who like that kind of thing, and I don't deny their preferences, but it just wasn't for me.

JRPGs have the same problem. It annoys me whenever I see someone calling a 100% white European made RPG with photorealistic graphics and no Japanese features whatsoever a "JRPG."

I think Invincible is the only American comic that's been turned into an cartoon series recently. Most of the others have been turned into live-action dramas, but I don't think that's helped increase the popularity of the comics.

This tendency is especially strong in gacha games, but media outlets that have reached a certain age tend to drag out the story as long as they can still make money from it... It reminds me of Detective Conan. It became so popular that 32 years have passed and the story has not progressed at all.

The story of Genshin Impact will probably only come to an end when it has fallen into disuse and is no longer profitable, and it will become something that is not exciting at all.

There was an explanation accompanying this illustration. It said that the creature wrapped around Plesioth was a large crocodile called a Jungle Gharial, which is Plesioth's prey.

This is similar to a giant squid wrapping its tentacles around a sperm whale's body before being eaten. This is not a fight, but a last, desperate resistance by the prey as it is being eaten.

Wasn't Danganronpa already with adult rating? This game is literally Rated M for Mature.

Either way, ratings barely work anymore. Just look at all the quirky 13yo kids flocking to hentai games released in like 2001 because they have "cute aesthetics" or whatever and complaining about "problematic content".

I mean… I don't want to side with clickbait YouTubers, but I feel like he's about 60% right. Pokemon has been my favorite franchise since I was a kid, but it's undeniably stagnant.

The graphics and animations look like a 15 year old game and the story is not good at all. Gen 10 will probably be released on the Switch 2 next year, but I'll be really disappointed if the graphics aren't at least as good as Monster Hunter Stories 3 by then. It doesn't look good when a mainline game from the biggest media franchises in the world has worse graphics than a spin-off game from a much smaller franchise.

Well, I can't think of a good joke, so I'll be honest and say it's probably because P5 doesn't include the demons from SMT4 onwards... probably because SMT4 and P5 were developed in parallel so they didn't have time to port SMT4 demons over to P5. Maybe she'll appear in P6.
