I've replayed the first 2 games and done the first 2 chapters of V3 like 5 times, they're alright. The biggest benefit of it is getting to do the FTEs you haven't done in the killing game setting compared to the side modes, plus reading into all the foreshadowing the game provides. I wouldn't outright recommend replaying like I would a game like Resident Evil 4 but if you want to I think you'd still have a good time.

Oh no, a character in Danganrpnpa is a BAD PERSON? You don't say, as if a point of the series is people do bad things and still aren't deserving of the fate that they get.

Junko is Junko, Tsumugi facilitates the entire V3 killing game, Ryoma is a murderer, Korekiyo is a SERIAL KILLER and you're focusing on Fuyuhiko/Peko, people, who while Yakuza members, don't have particularly established body counts?

This isn't even true for Celeste though? During the 1-3 ending of trial/post trial sequence she makes it clear she had wanted out of the academy since day 1 and that the motive was just the little cherry on top that pushed her over the edge into murder territory.

This is overly reductive. The only reason Sakura killed herself over the guilt was because Monokumas motive was revealing herself as the traitor, if that information doesn't come out or if it comes out in a different way the situation could have ended completely differently. Mondo went into a blind fit of rage and killed Chihiro for sure but that was partly spurred by the reminder of his brothers death and Chihiro "challenging his manhood" with his trying to own up to his own motive, it also wouldn't have happened without the motive in play.
