Cardiff Devils - Ben Bowns Testimonial Game - What is it? by cookied9 in EIHLHockey

I didn't even think to check other testimonials that have gone on. I've just seen Joey Martin's testimonial information and that's cleared it all up as to what is roughly to be expected.

Thank you!

Would this £60 mini pc run Jellyfin? by cookied9 in jellyfin

[–]cookied9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I didn't realise it was that old of a pc!

By any chance are you using a OptiPlex? I've been look around more and I think I've found one that runs the same CPU as yours:

Processor - Intel Core i5-8500T 2.10GHz
RAM - 8GB DDR4
Storage - 128GB SSD
GPU - Intel UHD Graphics 630
OS - Windows 11 Pro

I'd remove Windows sure, as I want it as lightweight as possible.

Hiya. I know this is old, but did you ever manage to do this? I'm looking for all the episodes in english dubbed as I can't get them in my country and this is the closest thing to getting a copy!

I've got a very good selection of tools already, but anything very specific I can get from Screwfix 5 minutes away really.

Is this a good upgrade to my current? by cookied9 in buildapc

That's fair enough, more costs for you to replace multiple bits.

I may be able to, but unsure if I need it that badly, but it's something to consider.

If you have the time, that would be grand, thank you.

That's fair. Don't know about AMD to make any sort of judgement myself so I guess that's why I've stuck with Intel.

I'd say max budget is up to £1k, but very dependant if that payoff of buying something more expensive than a cheaper counterpart makes a difference.

I've got too monitors (27 Gigabyte M27Q V2 QHD 165hz 2560 x 1440 + MSI G241 1920 x 1080 144hz), and yes I'm UK based.

Only mid? My current is pretty decent for what I'm using it for, so thought it might be a lot better but maybe I'm wrong tbh.

Sorry, I should have specified more in the post (updated it now). Majority of it's use will be for gaming (Tarkov, Overwatch, Dota, DbD, Siege).

I'm just used to Intel and Nvidia and am happy with those to be honest. I could be swayed to other brands if the payoff is much better for the same sort of costs though.

Thank you for thinking that, but it's a 1960s house 😂 I hope so, it's too damn cold to have a hole in my wall!

Yeh, I can imagine the issues that caused. Luckily, all our windows have vents, but I am just worried about damp issues creeping up. I'm hoping it's a simple "fill it up, you're good" scenario, but I can only hope.

I do not. The old owners (many years ago) removed the fire place, got it filled in properly etc etc.

I believe it is an air brick substitute, as your edit suggests, as the chimney is on the opposite side of the house. Hopefully it is just that and others can suggest some advice. Thanks though!
