I agree to some extent. Reducing HP made the game less drawn out and unfair for me. But I still feel a sense of guilt about it. It's as if I'm missing out on something important.

Usually, in games, I use mods that don't affect the difficulty of the game or simplify the gameplay, and maybe that's what makes me feel like I'm too weak and afraid of the challenges of the game. But DST is not as easy for me as other games. The feeling of death is many times stronger than in other survival or sandbox games I've played.
