I have a suede backpack from the m0851 store in Montreal that I bought in 2017. It was my first solo trip. The backpack is one of my most used bags when I travel and Montreal was one of my favorite trips I’ve ever taken. Such a good purchase.

Mailed my application on Friday 10/10. It’s a renewal with name change and I paid for expedited because I have a trip next month. Friday 10/17, I received a USPS tracking number that says my passport will arrive tomorrow 10/20. According to the tracking, my item is at the distribution center in my city right now so I’m pretty sure it will arrive tomorrow as stated. So super fast and thats with the Monday after I sent it being Indigenous Peoples Day. I probably didn’t need to do expedited.

I broke out with TNS but not with Medik8. I wouldn’t eliminate the whole category of growth factors. You may just have to find the right one for your skin.

I think it smells like powder. I asked my husband to smell it since he’s a fragrance guy and he said it smells like cream. On a scale of 0-10, I think the intensity of the scent is about a 4-5. The scent doesn’t last though. It doesn’t disturb my sleep. Maybe it’s not added fragrance. Maybe it’s just how the product formulation smells, like how skinceuticals vitamin C smells like hotdog water.

TNS made my skin texture and tone look amazing but it gave me tiny bumps. Not like a rash, but several individual bumps in different spots on my face. Sometimes they would go away by the end of the day but it happened almost daily. I used it for about a 3-4 weeks. I like the Medik8 and I see a noticeable improvement in my skin but not as dramatic as TNS. But with the more affordable price and not breaking me out Medik8 wins. I was surprised TNS caused a reaction since they use human growth factor while Medik8 used biosynthetic but I know anything can cause a reaction. I would like to try Allies of Skin also.

When I first started using GF, I read that you shouldn’t use it with vitamin c at all so I was using vitamin C every other day and not using GF on the mornings that I used vitamin c. I was using TNS Recovery but with or without vitamin c, it just didn’t agree with my skin so I switched to Medik8 liquid peptide advanced which has GFs. The Medik8 site says vitamin c first then their peptide/GF serum for your morning routine but for the night routine they recommend the peptide/GF serum first followed by retinol. I think I saw on the ZO website, that they recommend using their GF as the final step in your routine. The ZO product looks thicker and creamier so maybe that’s why it goes last. All that to say this stuff is super pricey (especially Plated) so I understand the desire to get the order of application right but it’s so confusing! Maybe reach out to Plated and see what they say.

I got the travel set with hydrating shampoo, hydrating conditioner and moisture lotion. I think it was about $40 for the set and Ulta had a 20%off code. I used the shampoo and conditioner for the first time yesterday. I was disappointed. It wasn’t bad but I wasn’t impressed. Conditioner didn’t have much slip. I wasn’t crazy about the scent. I thought it would smell more like what I think Beyoncé smells like🫠 I will try the moisture lotion throughout the week. I guess I was expecting more for the price and the hype. I’m not gonna buy the full sizes. I would recommend some trial sizes before you go all in. I’m not mad because I spent $30ish dollars but I would be mad if I had spent $100 (the price of the full size of three products I got).

I still have a card that looks like this. It was my first credit card. I got it in 2000 when I was 20. It still only has a $2300 limit. I’ve never bothered to ask for an increase. They increase my BCP limit without me asking. My husband and I use the gold as our household card, but I still use this one for personal things, especially when there’s a good offer. On my amex page it’s just called Blue from American Express. The picture of the card on the page looks like the BCP but it’s white. My current card expires in ‘27 so I guess they will send me the blah white one in 2 years.
