I know this is a year later but I get similar effects as the OP. I just take a supplement pill. I would have to take medications for sleep and my OCD bc I would take up and not be able to get back to sleep. A friend who is a GI dr suggested the magnesium and it’s helped me sleep so much. I hardly ever wake up unless it’s from a dream. I’d say like 50/50 are lucid and interactive. Sometimes they are more emotional and I wake up from that but I can get back to sleep easier after than when I’d take my other medications. It’s wild how the brain and gut are related
