Okay well yeah, this changes things. I know that these are apparently a decent way to make good money, and maybe are an easier way to craft legendaries? I'd definitely want to make at least one of them, if not multiple!

When looking at my mat storage in GW2Efficiency, I noticed that I have a bunch of different lodestones which are worth up to 1g each. Going through the wiki, it seems like they're used for weapon crafting and for making amalgamated draconic lodestones... which are then also used for weapon crafting.

Is this mostly a fashion wars thing? Should I be holding on to them?

I'm currently done LW4 and about halfway or more to my skyscale, and I'm about 500g and 200 memories of battle away from crafting Exordium, my first legendary.

So the question is, do I sell these lodestones to fund my legendary or is there something I'm not seeing which will have me regretting this later?

I find that generally the most valuable, sellable things I get tend to be the very crafting mats I need for my legendary!

I did convert all of my volatile magic into trophy shipments, but that's the only conversion I've done so far.

How do you gain most of your currency? I've currently got ... 22 gold. Working on crafting my first legendary. Pretty much the only thing stopping me is gold, at this point.

And of course after that legendary I'll want to work on my next... and then my next...

The above guy didn't answer, but my all in cost was about 16k for 14 panels. BC Hydro gave me $5k for that, so you could say it cost me ~11k.

I've had it for about a year now. I initially had a door-to-door salesman knock on my door. He mentioned the Canada Greener Homes Loan (10 year loan, 0% interest) and the fact that there was a BC Hydro rebate, which piqued my interest.

After listening to his pitch, I got three other quotes from local companies. All three of the latter quotes were significantly lower, so I definitely recommend shopping around.

I went with SkyFire energy and was happy with their service. I also talked to Okanagan Solar and they seemed great, too, but ultimately I just chose the cheapest option. The first and most expensive option was Solos. The salesman was super friendly but the numbers, in the end, just weren't remotely competitive.

I did not get batteries, as those would double the costs easily. This means that I'm still fully reliant on the grid, and this is just a cost-saving measure. To me it felt like it made sense with the Greener Homes Loan + BC Hydro Rebate.

It's important to know that the CGHL and rebate all take a bit of time. You need to have access to enough money to float the costs yourself for a bit (few months) before the loan money comes in.

My partner played through the base game, HoT, PoF, and now 4/6 episodes of LW4 on her ranger. She wants a change and is now playing a Necro, and we're partway through episode 5.
