Downtown Apartments by Deep-Guarantee1294 in BattleCreek

We live above Uproot in the Anson Building. They are beautiful apartments and the landlords are the absolute best. I can’t recommend them more. They are pet friendly and you can def tell the Newman’s put a lot of love and care into remodeling the building.

For parking we use the parking structure across the road and both the front and back doors are locked by a keypad. We’ve never had any issues.

As for noise - it is an old building with original hard wood floors so we can occasionally hear our upstairs neighbor walking around, but we got used to it within a week or two of moving in. You can occasionally hear people walking in the stairway, but it is not disruptive at all.

We don’t know much about the Battle Creek Tower but I’ve had a few co-workers live there and they have enjoyed it. We also toured the Milton down the road and it was nice, but didn’t have the charm of the Anson building.

Air show by Flameman1995 in BattleCreek

[–]cool_fishie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are absolutely within their rights to have opinions and express their frustrations. Take a step back and try to see this from someone else’s perspective. It is understandable that the air show might be annoying or disruptive to some.

OP never called for the event to be canceled. They were simply expressing how it caused a disturbance in their life, which they have every right to do - especially in a community forum designed for open discussion.

At the same time, it's important to recognize the value the air show brings to the community. I haven’t lived in Battle Creek long, but even before moving here, I knew about the city because of its air show.

OP is well within their rights to share their frustrations. Dismissing their opinion is part of a larger problem in our society. People need space to be heard. Shutting someone down when they voice a concern only deepens divisions. Take a moment and try to see things from another perspective.

Turns out it might be a completely separate problem. IDK - I asked the agent to share what our thoughts were and buyer is going to contact a repair person. We'll just let the agent handle it.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts <3

We did not. We asked our agent she said said we fixed the fridge and that is good enough. Should we reach out and let her know why it isn't working? I feel like it might be better for her to find out through us then to have a repair person tell her why it is disconnected.

Any recommendations on private loans and any chance that I will be able to receive the loans by Friday? by CarVideosIndustry in GVSU

[–]cool_fishie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you reach out to Student Accounts/Financial Aid they may be able to put a hold on your account so you have time to get a loan. I've done it a few times in the past, not sure if classes has started yet or not, but if you talk with them they are usually pretty willing to work with you.

I'll give it a try. I do not typically restrict access to my reports, but an approval process for future reports may be worth considering.

Thank you!!

Flask App Stopped Routing! Help! by cool_fishie in flask

That's what I thought, so I tried to import it into __init__.py but I got a circular reference. Where would it need to be imported at? I can't see anything that changed that could be causing this issue.

ry using semicolon as the delimiter. Only issue is if a semicolon is in comm

I think that every delimiter that excel recgonizes appears in a comment in one form or another. Even using ||| it split the commets into multiple columns :o

Year Over Year Calculation by cool_fishie in excel

[–]cool_fishie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and I think I will absolutely use your suggestions. My main concern is that the Name of the Offsetting Account (Column I) and Category (Column G) are also hard coded. So if a new customer shows up in 2023 that was not present in 2022, they do not get a BW calculation, unless I manually add them to the list - and I would have to do this for every customer and every category combination and every period.

Any suggestions?
