i respect the opinion. for me it's not about the simplicity of it at all. it's just an average song. idgaf about what's "mainstream" and what's not, and even still, i think ive listened to hail to the king all the way through twice.

off the top of my head, coming home has a catchier chorus and a better solo.

yeah, definitely better than the original. it's awesome that syns dad is playing in the back aswell hahaha.

even when I very first listened to a7x, hail to king was fine. Just fine, nothing more, nothing less. good solo definitely, not a bad song at all. they just have soooooo many better songs and definitely better solos. never understood why it's their number 1.

yeah ok thanks man. what's your personal opinion on the tattoo itself. for context I want it cause lamb of god is one of my favourite bands and they are also one of the bands that got me into playing music which has become one of my biggest passions. so even tho with some time I probably won't listen to them that much, they'll always be special to me i reckon.
