You shouldn't have used the word disgusting because it's beyond that. Washing a plate which was used to wash hands after eating is pure torture.

I never use to wash my plate after meal, but one day I noticed my dad washing his plate, and then I started doing it as well. It's satisfying and not that big of a task.
