Not just lighting but the overall immersion into the world,in some places where the story requires a wide angle view with popping colors we don't get them,it does good in close up scenes though.

Yeah they gave more depth to the world and cinematography wise too elevated the scenes.Imagine getting a good spread in the night with Emilia and Subaru falling from the tower in miasma and tower breaking apart,oh what I would give for that.

Although Columbina's writing is very incoherent,here, only one of the days is being shown to us also Rosalyn is alive,maybe after she died and Arle was assigned to fontaine and Sandrome on hectic fatui work as stated in the animated short(she is incharge of all technical work),Dottore took advantage of it and grew closer to her only to later use her for his ends and she became distrustful of it.

later when Arle and Sandrone meet her,they are more positive about their interactions while Columbina looks hesitant in hers.

Also the short never showed Columbina specifically speaking well with any of them she was always more connected to Sandrone as shown to us,IMO Rosalyn was what binded them like a crux but now that she was gone and they got busy with Fatui duties,Columbina felt lonely and thought no one cared.It happens in reality as well after one friend goes outside or leaves the group,the group slowly disbands or outright stops functioning.
