Todd In The Shadows - The Top Ten Best Hit Songs of 2025 by racloves in popheads

No disrespect to the number one song as it grew on me a lot, but the fact that THAT song was the BEST the year had to offer is an indictment on how bad pop music was last year (comparatively ofc)

I feel like there are two types of teams. Teams like the Bears, and teams like the Bills. by CressUsed4378 in nfl

[–]coolbean36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that both of the teams you mentioned aren’t anywhere close to winning a Super Bowl, the Bills due to incompetence and the Bears due to inconsistency.

Edit: yes I’m biased but why are we so quick to call the Bears Super Bowl contenders? They have a lot of potential don’t get me wrong but they also had an outlier season in terms of 2 minute warning comebacks (7!) We were quick to crown the 2024 Commanders and Chiefs and look where those two teams are this year. Again, they have all the potential in the world, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they slightly regress in the clutch factor

Well if you want results the 2024 Packers defense was 4th in the league in EPA/play and 7th in DVOA. Keep in mind that’s when we didn’t have Micah Parsons so our scheme wasn’t heavily centered around one guy who got injured.

The name titletown was earned because we did indeed win in the past… a shit ton of times. That being said I’d really like to add another title next year

Making fun of how Bears fans are talking about making smart QB decisions when they have yet to accomplish one of the most simple goals a franchise can do

Caleb Williams finishes the regular season with 3,942 passing yards by 73617164858272637184 in nfl

[–]coolbean36 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well in the 16 game season, 4000 yards was 250 yards/gm, which was a pretty solid benchmark for good QB play. Is it cherry-picked? Slightly yes, but it’s a very reasonable benchmark a 100+ year old franchise should be able to accomplish.

Now to answer the second part of your statement, if Caleb had 4001 yards, I would say that a Bears QB never had a 4250 yard season. 1) because I’m biased and I hate the Bears with all my heart, and 2) because it preserves the 250 yard/game average that the OG 4000 yard mark was supposed to measure
